I think the reason Jane didn't understand Carlos was asking her out for ages was because she was really insecure, and didn't believe she'd get a boyfriend or he'd like her in that way. I think the reason Jane didn't understand Carlos was asking her out for ages was because she was really insecure, and didn't believe she'd get a boyfriend or he'd like her in that way. She wasn't friendzoning him, she was pushing down her feelings because of their differences (evil, good etc) and never believed he'd like her back. Or she was just very oblivious LMAO
