This is really refreshing. It is the first of your videos I saw. So i justjumped around a few of your videos, It is really nice to hear reviews from a down to earth non pro-who seems not to be self financed :D As a goalkeeper coach for a grassroot team in Denmark I'm just really happy to see the enthuciasm and joy you bring into this :D I might look into the whole soft toothbrush trick, as I won't have never recommended it my self but it sure did seems to work wonders :D Keep up the good work!
For me mate rub the gloves together gently it gets the mud off straight away and don’t towel dry them I naturally dry the gloves it usually takes 1-2 days but preserves the latex well
I used to use a very similar method. I stopped using a toothbrush on the palms though, I now use an old flannel now instead as I’ve found that it’s less abrasive to the latex. Well put together video, keep it up 👍🏼👏🏼
Thanks for the support. Agreed on needing to be careful. I use the softest toothbrush (they are labelled soft, medium and hard in my local store) so that the impact on the latex is minimised. Appreciate your insight and suggestion.
Good question, I specifically did a “twice the price” comparison to Uhlsport and update video previously. However, my observations were also new vs old Kaliaaers too. Just about to do a new Adidas review.
Wash & prepare. Clean gloves are the best gloves and the longest lasting. Keep the latex damp, keep a towel and water bottle in the goal, and any good glove is grippy enough. Glu gives you a confidence boost and the tackiness lasts a few holds but isn't a match long solution.
@@Nickos.not1s I haven't used the foam personally, but since it is non-specific for gloves, it does boots too, I'd be in the wash camp. That said, if you don't have the time for the gloves to dry with the wash and water, the foam my be a option for a quick turnaround?
@@stellanhansen506 I wear new gloves exclusively in matches at first. With the Supergrips I then wore them on a Sells goalkeeper trials day last year and the 3G was v. rough on them, so they then became my AG pair. I still use them in training to this day.
I wouldn’t use shampoo. Despite being mild it probably has lots of chemicals, oils etc. to stop hair drying out. Doubt that would be good to latex. Get the mildest, perfume and chemical free soap (perhaps for babies) and put a little in the tub of water you’re soaking them in. If they are smelly drop a little vinegar in the water to kill the bacteria.

Thanks for the support and for coaching keepers at grassroots, not many of those coaches around 👍
I bought a gloveglu sponge and it did nothing but when I saw this video I felt stupid and wished I saw this earlier.
That’s what the gkunion is all about, helping other keepers 👍
Thanks!
Keep it up bro🤝👏
Thanks for that, still get nervous each time!

I need to use mine too quickly to leave them to dry naturally, they are still damp after the towel dry.
I thought that a toothbrush damaged the latex 😂😂😂
I buy a toothbrush labelled “soft”. You are only using a little pressure to loosen the dirt in the latex, just treat it like your own skin.
send me your one of gloves please
By the time I’m finished with the gloves, trust me, you wouldn’t want them!

Good content but how much did you pay for your other gloves your compareing to kaliaaer.

Hi there I'm a new keeper and would love a pair of new gloves to were in my under 11s football team 🙏 😅😊
I started at U11, enjoy your matches. My old gloves were passed on to my sister, so I’m afraid I wouldn’t have any useful ones left for you, sorry.
If you had to buy one, gloveglu or glove wash & prepare, which one would you buy?

Can you suggest me a video about set position?

Thanks 🔥 Been really busy with my GSCEs, will try to get a new video out shortly…
What's the name of the uhlsport glove?
Uhlsport Hyperact Supergrip+ NC
@@goalkeeperreviewsforyou Did you use it for matches only or also training sessions?
