Thanks for the shared insight, very helpful for all. Hopefully I can try a 9.5 to see if it alleviates the issues. One Glove mention on the packaging how tight the cut is so hopefully I can find a better fit and others don't suffer the same experience I did.

I saw a post from One Glove suggesting supply chain issues had stopped them releasing new models for retail sale. Will be interesting to see what changes they have made in addition to the cosmetic differences.

Glad you like them! Just goes to show how what are known to be “tight fitting” gloves can be very different in person. Would love to try size 9.5 to see if it makes any difference to the volume issues.

Thanks @Theonegloveco (the first glove company to ever reply - viewers take note) I read that during the ordering process and watching Alex's video. I'm looking forward to trying the Aqua Latex out during the autumn/winter. I use an old GloveGlu bottle filled with water to keep my gloves wet on dry days. Can you make mud-resistant gloves!?! 😆🧤⚽

@@goalkeeperreviewsforyou Mud resistant gloves sound like a dream, it would be impossible though 😅 Latex is really soft and has tiny little holes in (which you can only see under a microscope) which is why it's grippy and the backhands need to be kept breathable and lightweight - so unfortunately us keepers will need to stick to washing after every use!

@@callumararity7857 9.5 for a tight fit (Kaliaaer don’t do half sizes) or 10 for 0.5cm at the ends of my little finger. My middle finger is much longer, proportionally than the others. The Ultrpros have a strong curve to their shape and lots of support, much more so than the other gloves. The Trilites are very different, flatter and much lighter.

The SME version in his size are the exact specs, the Rs are close just like an off the shelf tennis racket. Watch the Mine Yours Away podcast (Ramsdale or others) where pro GKs explain the differences.

Such an eclectic career. Brave as hell as well, effectively played most of a match on one leg when he damaged has ankle really badly and Marc White didn't have a sub keeper on the bench. It took Slav a long time to recover from that injury.

I find Adidas leather boots come up a shade smaller than Nike and Mizuno (I have to wear 12+ for Adidas but 11.5 for Nike). But Soccer Reviews For You recommends true to size for Morelias. I’d expect you to find a UK 8 have more room than the Copa Mundials. The Made In Japan variants are lasted for 24 hours so don’t give with wear quite as much as the Indonesia/Vietnam ones.

Thanks for the insight, I have both URG1.0 and 2.0 Hybrids. I have used them for a season and a half but have probably used the 2.0 in at least twice as many games. I will do a durability update video.

You mean on natural fields? I don't think the same can be said for if you were playing on harder turfs or astro turf with super high ground abrasion

Agreed, astro is a killer for latex. I'll do a comparison video between the URG1.0 and 2.0 after 18 months soon.

​@@crxhol1936I train on astro, I am not the most experienced keeper cause I am number 2 but on my latest match (away really good grass (probably best field I ever played on)) they didnt ripped till I got a kick into my pointer and middle finger. The other 2 matches I played on astro didnt ripped the latex at all and I used urg 2.0 comp model for full season on ag and they still have grip.

@@akosburian4422 yeah if you have a good diving technique it is usually going to reduce latex tearing but with adidas gloves that are always really tight on the fingers, it is very easy to get tears near the fingertips like you said

That is a very good point most if not all gloves will be very different to shop bought gloves. If you watch my glove history video I give my opinion on the One Glove SLYR midnights which I used for about 1/2 a season. Like football boots there is a lot of customisation at the highest level, making some models worn very different from those on retail sale. I have actually given a pair away to a subscriber! I'm tempted by the new Type R model...

@@goalkeeperreviewsforyou i bought the type r model, my thoughts are the latex strap is good and the rest of the gloves are like the Geo 3.0, the cut on the fingers feel nice and tight wile being a flat cut. i would recommend them

URG 1.0 is fantastic if you can afford new gloves every few weeks!!! Ramsdale himself recommends the non-Promo URG 2.0 to parents when they say they’re going to buy their son/daughter his gloves. He talks about it on the Yours Mine Away podcast. I like Uhlsports, and will be wearing a pair for my match tonight, but I find the interior feel of the gloves on my fingers not as nice as other gloves.

I have the Promo and the URG2.0. I prefer the 2.0, good grip and longer lasting latex.
