Everytime we get another game like this , my hope for the gaming industry gains a little.
From Second Story R, to Chained Echoes, to Visions of Mana, things just keep looking up.
Motoi Sakuraba is enough for me to invest $27 on this project.
I didn't know about this project. Because of the names and what I see, it already has my full attention.
I decided to take a chance on this one. It looks pretty neat and there's a lot to like in terms of art, inspirations, and what little they already have to show off

What I wouldn't give for a remaster. 1440p or 4K 60 fps would be so good for that game. And the game's models still look good for how old it is. Though the only thing I would hope they'd add is voiceovers for the Dreams.

Honestly the gaming industry needs games like these. It one of the reasons why it hasn't completely crashed and burned. Sometimes it can feel like gaming is in life support right now

This looks hot. When anyone invokes Lost Odyssey as an inspiration, I'm immediately interested. I'm hoping these cinematic looking scenes during combat are actually a part of the game, and not just some for the trailer made scenes with the UI slapped on. I hate when any game does that, though it doesn't really happen that nuch these days.
Another Kickstarter that has an intention of releasing on consoles but won't say when or which ones but asking us to pledge anyway. But I will wait which is a shame as this looks interesting.

@@BacklogBattle Not always but it is becoming more common it would seem. However, saying that, both Godshard and Bestiario clearly stated they were coming to consoles and which ones and had tiers for that. Been burned on too many Wii U versions that never materialised to trust 'plans and intentions' going forward
@@leehardy2025 the only consoles you can count out are bad ones that flop such as the Wii U. And sometimes consoles that are on the end of life before a new one comes out. I can most certainly 99% tell you that Steam, XSX/S, PS5/4, Switch will be main target for release. Slight chance that Switch will be omitted since it's old enough (new Switch coming). I think therefore 99% of all players invested in this game will not be missing out.
Interesting thing about Nakheel’s profile on the kickstarter page, the profile refers to them using They/Them pronouns while using gendered terms for the other three
The art direction is a bit too cartoonist, phenix rising ubisoft style... I hope they improve a bit the characters closer to their art portraits

This description reminds me of another game with many similar influences currently in kickstarter called Runa. Looks like a lot of people want to do a new Golden Sun like adventure lol

I see a lot of South American influence, looks really cool. Might be the 2nd kickstarter I ever back, the first was Bloodstained.

Yes, I agree -- someone who doesn't understand how kickstarter tiers usually work set up that lowest physical tier at $98 USD. Too rich for my blood. ...Though they're claiming it's a "kickstarter exclusive" physical, which I guess means there's some collector's item aspect to it. I wonder if there will be a different retail physical, or no retail physical.
I am willing to work on their character modeling to make it match closer to their concepts I think thats the only criticism I have for the game other than that its perfect.
