- Here is your ALL ACCESS PASS to Kansai Gaidai's Seminar House 4...except the computer room because I forgot my ID card ;) I lived here temporarily during Orientation Week, and every day was a alot of fun! I tried to include everything I could in my tour, so the video turned out a little long... sorry! :) People usually say Seminar House 4 is the most social out of the 4 seminar houses.
All students who attend Kansai Gaidai University, Hirakata, Osaka, have to stay at one of their seminar houses during Orientation Week, which I think is a really good thing because it encourages people to make friends really early on. After orientation week, homestay students, like myself (:D), move in with their host families either on the Saturday or Sunday of the weekend before classes start.
NEXT VIDEO: Welcome party at my homestay...eating natto :O
I'm so jealous of you right now. At least you are reppin' the Maikeru's in Japan! :P
I went there in 1982 and stayed in the only on campus house for gaigin which was an old Japanese house by the tennis court. Home stay people came back there after one semester if they had a bad family.
One thing I've noticed is when Australians or English people speak Japanese, your accents disappear. A semi-working dryer is better than having to hang your clothes for drying. Looks like a pretty good setup to me. I wouldn't mind living there for a while.
Thanks for the tour!
I find it surprising how just about all of the signs are in English -.-
Sucks that you have to pay to use those laundry machines and dryers...The thing about Japanese dryers being bad at drying things is something which I can confirm - it takes years to dry my jeans, lol.
Are you only in Japan for 6 months?
Sorry for the questions - it's just interesting comparing how things are in Kansai and Sapporo :D
Mattias
thanks for the video man!
wow! I was so impressed with the dorm until you got to the room lol Would of been perfect for one person! How long do you stay there? During the week?
Would you recommend homestay or the dorm?
