I have snow men and snowflakes up for decorations until Spring and Easter. I do have a few heart items I put out. Your comforter looks great. I have a heavy handmade quilt that has Santa on one side and red/green plaid on the back. I use this on my bed and just change after Christmas to the plaid side. Decorations look great.

I have these tiny brass picture frames. My idea for your shadow box is to get 5 of the tiny frames and put a face picture of Claire Bear and the other animals and get a tiny dog and cat statue from hobby lobby. It would be so cute and that’s their snack bar lol

Love your decor, you are such an inspiration in everything you do ! I was going to say red is a good accent color in your home. Looks gorgeous, a good pop of color. I would suggest leave a little red out all year. Red isn't just for Christmas and Valentines day. One more thing, I think that corner in your living room, between the two windows would be a good place for a photo gallery.
I like the white cubby box plain. It is interesting on its own.

I also have a hutch like yours with doors on the top. I always struggled decorating mine also until I decided to remove the doors and the wood piece in the middle and filled the holes. I love it now and it’s a lot more fun to decorate! Maybe you could use your little white kitchen box that’s on that shelf either in your pantry or craft room. 🤷♀️ You always make everything look so put together though. Everything looks great! Maybe you could use the little white shelf with the squares in it, as a spice rack. Put a couple of little bottles of spices on each, or on a few spaces. It looks nice where it is, and Spices are a kitchen item.

I follow you for the last two years. I found out about you after Merina, from Fearfully Created mentioned that you're her favorite youtuber. I rarely comment, cuz I watch videos on a go! I just wanted to tell you: THANK YOU FOR SAVING WATER while putting your dishes in the dishwasher! So many ppl take it for granted and let it run the whole time, cuz it botheres them to turn it of! I'm mom of 4, from Bosnia and I decided not to have the dishwasher, cuz I think I could save more wather if I wash it by hands. Me and my two older children wash 3-4 sinks a day, by hands. I just love your content and I'm sending you love and support❤

Love all the Valentine touches! Suggestion for the white box above the coffee station - ask Marion to cut some blocks that fit in the spaces & use your Cricut to make X's and O's and use different shapes for different seasons - such as ornaments and Christmas trees, rabbits and carrots at Easter, etc. Have a great week!

I have one similar that’s not very big inside . I finally took the doors off ours and I like it like that better .
If you haven't tried the febreze ocean scent, it smells so daggone good. I recommend if you find it on sale.
I think everything looks great! I went crazy last year with Paddys day and Easter. I really think less is more because it just looked cheap and cluttered. When I bring that stuff out I want to go only with what I really love. Cant wait for your changes. I live in a smaller house but we rent so all I can do is change the furniture around😂.

QUESTION Arika, Is it just me but when you zoomed in on Paisley's photo on your book case I couldn't get over how much Paisley and Jaxon look alike especially their eyes, like Marion.
I think it was last year, but I picked up some white dishes at Dollar Tree.

I made them for my birthday and some special soups and it was a great hit. One time I put some sundried tomatoes in with the onion and peppers along with some red pepper flakes. It was so yummy! It really added to it. Thanks for always sharing so much encouragement and inspiration with us. God bless you and your family❤🙏 ** Oh and I forgot to add, for the white shelf in your kitchen that you said is a challenge to decorate, I think it could look nice with just maybe 3 or 4 things scattered in it. For valentines day for example if you could find some little x's and o's. Then for regular decor maybe some small plants and a cross. Just maybe 3 or 4 things so not to look cluttered. Hobby lobby has little crosses❤
HI Arika! You inspire me! I need to get moving on my own valentines decor. Just a suggestion, I know how much you love your ottoman, but if you're looking to bring in wood tones, I'd look into a wood coffee table. Marketplace and thrift stores are always great places to look. Also about the cubby shelf in the kitchen, maybe put a little valentine heart in a few of them? Maybe faux succulents?
