I had to tell you that you did a very good job. The way you braided your own hair like it wasn't nothing, and your curls were very nice and bouncy with a nice healthy shine to it. Keep up the excellent work!

I've neglected to do anything with my hair for years just simply because I was not taught how to properly take care of my African American hair and the motivation to learn just was not there. Now lately I have been experimenting a little more with my hair and am starting to find that motivation to learn. I have been recently considering giving myself a braided Mohawk type style and putting actual time and effort into it. Point being you have just motivated me more to want to do this style, I absolutely adore it and want to rock it to! I hope I didn't drag this comment on for too long but thanks for reading!
Myself as well. It's important for mothers to teach their daughter/s . My mother wasn't taught and it passed down to me. I taught myself how to braid and have been doing ok since. Still learning as I go.

Also, I know it can be tough when you have other responsibilities to consider, but you should always follow your passion as much as you possibly can. Even if you can't do it full time (perhaps due to financial considerations), when you do do it, put your all into it. Life is to short for half measures and regrets. You're clearly very talented.
