This was so awesome! I too did this and got a super ton of compliments and it was ever so easy. In fact, the second time I tried to do this I was rushing and couldn’t get the crochets to go in. It was so easy that my husband add the crochet hair and all I had to do was pin and trim. Love, love, love this!!!!
I did this style today and followed everything you said. It came out STUNNING!!! Thank you so much! I have 4c natural hair and cannot braid and never crochet myself before. I was able to do this and it looks salon haute! My hair is color 30 so I used 1.5 packs of 30 and added about 4 pieces of 27 for highlights. Sooo pretty!!!

Ashley Mitchell I do the lco method...leave in, cream, oil....I use creme of nature with argan oil leave in, aunt Jackie seal it up hydrating sealing butter, and black Jamaican castor oil.....massage scalp every night and drink lot of water....
