Even before going inside the video...weeks back...I had a chance to see kamal sir on Crazy Mohan's 70th birthday...there were stalwarts there...still kamal sir could intake all the speeches of everyone before him and still give that Star touch and different speech... I and my friend were speaking...how is this guy coming from some shoot and after this has to go to another big boss shoot and also have other interviews in a single day could do with such passion and excellence...he takes every single opportunity in life and do the best..Phenomenon and gift to us.

@19:25,..That scene,,.when watching that movie, that specific scence particularly made me teary eyed, because he would cry in shaky voice and would paste the wet clay sand souked in fresh water spring (that gushes out a few feet underground) into his chest and compare the Bhumi to his mother and say " Idhu enga appatha udambu daa..."....Oh boy ! A mere mention of that great scene makes me emotional...

Not sure why there was no mention of thevar magan in the context of screenplay and dialogue, and Unnai kaanaathe...from vishwaroopam under lyrics. These were truly outstanding works from Kamal!
yep.... Screenplay writer "Kamal hassan" segment shoukd have had some mention... I love the screenplay in that movie... Especially, the scene where the celebration of Kamal's entry happens, the crakers, rockets and right there the villain gets introduced looking at the rocket. What an establishment. Ippolaam konjam mass, goosebumps nu konjam quality gone down. Atleast not gelling with the overall script.

Yes sir.. Climax of Dirshyam & Papanasam in particular… Kamal sir Knew well about the taste of Tamil audience..
The climax of Malayalam Dirshyam received better than Papanasam is only because of CONCEPT/ PUBLIC MINDSET “not by performance. We can notice that Mohanlal did nothing just delivered a powerful dialogue/message according to the mood/ mindset of the people. People are celebrating and distributing sweets if they heard an encounter/death penalty of a rapist.

Very good analysis by Baradwajh. Then I do not know ehy Kamal has not got Dadabalhae Shaheb award not yet which is the ultimate award for an actor by Indian Government. Most of the contenders got it after death, only a few got it while living.

I am a die hard Kamal fan . But can’t deny Rajini sir’s acting . He is a wonderful actor from same KB school of acting , but commercial movies have made him just a box office star and his acting skills were never noticed . As mentioned in previous comments , it’s purely politics and Mayyam (மய்யம்) is not in favor of Central government (மையம்) and vice Versa. But who cares , we all know what aandavar is capable of !! And what he truly is ! They can ignore his talent but can never deny his talent . #Nayagan he is ! ❤
