It's time to show you a hidden country in HOI4 that has one of the best focus trees, but that no one plays and the path no one chooses in this WW2 strategy game.
We are going to be going from a tiny nation that can barely survive on its own to a superpower in Hearts of Iron 4 and this is brought to us by the power of Kaiserreich.
Kaiserreich is a mod where Germany actually won WW1 and it changes the world completely.
This time USA compeletely falls apart and it leads to a lot of Americans coming to Africa, and you already know that is already a very sus possibility.
Bringing ruthless capitalism to any continent won't end up well, but that's exactly what USA will do to overcome this HOI4 challenge in Kaiserredux!

The history of Liberia is hilarious and sad at the same time. It was formed for a place for freed slaves to return to Africa, but the first thing the freed slaves did when they got there was immediately enslave and oppress the native people.
Don't forget:They were dominated by a Rubber Company from the US which relied on semi-slaves to run their rubber plantations there. Shit got so bad that they almost ended up being a supervised state under the League of Nations

Tips for how to use the navy right:
1: When you don't have enough range but the enemy has little navy, make a flotilla only out of capital ships(carriers, battleships, heavy cruisers). It has double the range. Do NOT do this if the enemy has a competent navy, as unescorted capital ships have no screening and are very detectable.
2: Always go for 4 carriers in your fleet. Massive damage. And do not forget to fill them with planes though. They need carrier-compatible planes but 1 factory left on CV fighters and one on CV naval bombers is usually enough to produce enough planes for one carrier per year
3: Do not mix submarines with ANY other ship type
4: If you're not playing a minor, leave 5 dockyards to produce your best kind of destroyers from the very beginning. You might end with 50 spare destroyers that you can use for anything you need

#2 advise about planes is simple but on point. HOI4 is one of those games where it's really easy to get lost in the weeds trying to manage a lot of stuff and there's times where something as simple as planes for air craft carriers can be overlooked. We saw it in this video where one of the most experienced HOI4 players in the world overlooked simple things because he was busy doing a lot of other stuff.

Now it's time for similar challenge - play as Paraguay, Huey Long has to lose civil war, he flees here and you can get him as leader and focus tree to make a comeback. Also there are such paths for other countries in exile - Germany can flee to any its colony + Bokassa in CAR, National France has Guatemala and Bokassa again.

@@bighillraft at least they actually have content, unlike kaiserreich lol. crazy how CoF and UoB have next to nothing in KR despite them being two of the most major nations in lore/the mod as a whole. kaiserredux is literally just kaiserreich done right, if it weren't such an unstable mod that is.
@@cr1tikal_arc Kaiserredux and Kaiserreich are completely different styles of mod, you cant really compare them
@@bighillraft they follow the exact same concept and have mostly the same lore. they're literally the most comparable hoi4 mods. kaiserredux is just KR with more extremist paths, longer (and better) focus trees, and more content across the board.
@@cr1tikal_arc kaiserreich focuses on telling a good story while kaiserredux focuses on adding more fun content, kaiserredux doesn't really have lore
the new focus trees of kaiserreich are as good, if not better, than the best kx trees, only difference is that the kaiserrreich devs take longer to to updates because they actually do research and fix bugs and balance the game, stuff like that, like if you read the average Kaiserreich update log you can see what I mean

One thing I've learned for Liberia, spam training for as many troops as your manpower allows **before** the start event that gives "Negro Settler Nation". That way you end up with ~6 divisions off the bat.
