- We start our wood series with how to paint wood texture. Painting wood in photoshop, procreate, clip studio, etc... all follows the same basic rules in terms of it's texture so the only difference is slight variations in the tools. Our goal here is to digitally paint wood texture and go over the basic colors of painting wood, as well as it's behavior.
After this painting wood texture tutorial, next we'll start painting more complex designs and items made of wood, like tree stumps, wooden shields, fantasy lamps, treasure chests, and many many more.

10:38 felt like relationship advice 😭🗣️🗣️🔥🔥
Can you make a tutorial about skin??
Please
thanks! Really like that channel
You're a freakin legend! How do you have only 40k subs???
i found your channel a while ago, i was looking for a metal tutorial and i still didn't find something that helped me improve on metal. maybe you can do it like these next time?
Absolutely! I have a list filled with tutorials that I plan on making like these. Next on the list after these first wood tutorials is foliage like grass, bushes, and trees. But then after THOSE is iron and metal!
@@Gammatrap thanks!!!
How can i get this brush (hard round pressure opacity)plz
I'm stumped on what pun to use.
insaane, more pls
I'm glad you enjoy them! The next one will be posted tomorrow :)
I don't know what I'm doing wrong, I just for the love of god cant get it to look good. I would not say I'm completely incompetent, I've done decent art as a beginner yet i cant even come close to what is shown in the video...even though i go second by second to see the brushstrokes, I've been sitting here four hours :(
Any advice?
First like first view first commet
Next, you'll reveal you're also a wizard!!
@@Gammatrap can you please make a tutorial about skin
I have a huge list of tutorials all written up and planned out. Skin has 2. Color, and lighting/texture. But they're not for a few weeks at least
@@Gammatrap thank you 😊
@@Gammatrap And do you also have cartoonic metal in your list?
the one you made was very realistic and it was pretty cool but i want a metal which is very cartoonic.
Thank you
Obviously this is a two year old tutorial so I don't expect a response! But I feel (it's most likely a confidence/experience issue) there's a big jump from the texturing in the wood block to how you proceed from the 8 to 9 minute mark. Obviously the block had a lot more structure and guidelines to follow and /obviously/ nature is far more free form, but it'd be great to have some thoughts to bear in mind whilst you're on that particular stage. I'm trying to squint and see what brush strokes you're putting down but you clearly have a rough vision of how it's going to look like and have trust in the process. I have very little trust in how /I/ follow the process rather than the process itself, and I'm stuck at that 8-9 minute mark feeling immensely frustrated at my work. Is this just a case of "do more", or are there any tips for how to /think/ in these moments?
This is shocking!
Shocking... Cause it's good? 👀
