  • This Hypnosis track is for those wanting to know how to stop procrastinating. Using Solution Focused Hypnotherapy techniques, this track aims to both teach you about procrastination and help you to overcome it.
If you are struggling with procrastination, it is likely because the subconscious mind is trying to avoid the task. It treats it like a danger and how it deals with danger is fight or flight. Flight then becomes the chosen option and when it's made this decision, productivity and motivation suddenly drop and we procrastinate.
Hypnosis helps you to change these subconscious processes, helping you to reach that place where you have control and when you decide you're going to do something, you do it. When the subconscious mind is on board we are no longer fighting against ourselves and this is when we stop procrastinating.
This track can be used in the day time or you can listen to it while going to sleep at night. Listen to this track once a day to work towards long term changes in productivity and procrastination.
I'd love to hear your feedback on this sort of content and if there's anything you'd like to see on my channel I'm always open to suggestions.
If listening to hypnotherapy tracks isn't something you usually do, try setting yourself the goal of listening to this track once every day for a week and see what happens? It sounds like a drag but as my clients know, listening to Hypnotherapy tracks like this one each and every day is paramount to success in working towards your goals. Just give it a shot, what have you got to lose?

Good morning Danny, I've had you in rotation along with Linda Hall, Michael Sealey, Rasa, and Jason Stephenson. You've all significantly helped as I've been a sufferer of OCD, anxiety, and PTSD for as long as I remember. I'm also well over two years recovered from alcohol and 222 days cigarette free. Your work is always incredibly soothing and you have a wonderful gift of storytelling. However, in this particular meditation, at about the 19 minute mark, you get into detail about opening up a delicious bottle of champagne. Sounds appealing and lovely, but I feel this could be a big trigger for most listeners who are fresh from alcohol. It doesn't make me love your work any less, I just meant to point it out as I honestly couldn't get past the visuals of bubbly libations. All my best.

Thank you Bradley first for your lovely compliments it really means a lot to me ☺️and secondly thank you for pointing this out.
It can be very difficult with such a vast amount of potential triggers for different people and different problems to avoid these incidents, I've had clients with fish phobias who I've had to warn about the brief mention of fish in a script which is used in the majority of my hypnotherapy tracks near the end, but this is probably a bit more obvious and also more common than that. I've "pinned" your comment in the hopes that it will help warn others in a similar situation of this part of the track and I think in future I will refrain from using this particular script too. I actually don't like champagne at all, horrible stuff, so I won't personally miss the script! 😅
Lastly, congratulations on your recovery from alcohol and of becoming a non smoker, both really amazing, inspiring achievements I hope you are very proud of! 👊💪 And i hope you continue to make progress in your efforts to cope with or overcome the challenges you are still facing 🙏🏼
Thank you for comment and your support!

Very good! I thought at about 25.something I could feel the joy in my artwork and this is where the session should end. But when the sailing boat image appeared I went to another level. I began scooping up all my suffering images of my past and feel them relax. The boat is now full I just some of my "buddies" don't turn into pirates. Than you so much.

Hi Danny, I agree with Bradley about the champagne. We are in September 2020, in the midst of the pandemic. Maybe you can make a new one, with issues that can help us all with procrastination, fear, anxiety, etc, with nothing that can remind us of any addiction.
    THANK YOU, NAMASTE

Hello there, yes this is something I've thought about a fair bit but I'm concerned a pandemic specific track would not be listened to post-pandemic when that time finally comes.
New tracks are on the way though and I hope you can find benefit from the existing tracks until then, I did also re-release this particular track (for procrastination) with the champagne story removed and I replaced the music with rain sounds.

Hello there Linda, thanks for getting in touch. There are websites that convert youtube videos into mp3 files if you search for them but I'm not sure about the legalities behind using them so please use at your own risk.
However, when you have internet access and can use UA-cam to access the videos instead, it benefits the channel through "views" for the videos which helps my content to be shown by UA-cam more which is nice for me!

Are we supposed to listen to this while sleeping?

    • @DannyGlasspool
      @DannyGlasspool  4 роки тому +4

Hello there Nishthta, thank you for commenting!
How we understand procrastination is that it is an involuntary aversion to sources of stress, this happens when we have high levels of stress in the body.
These tracks can be listened to in the day by finding a nice quiet place to sit or lay for 30mins or so. Listening in the night may be a better choice though for procrastination as we're not then inclined to use these tracks as a means to procrastinate more!
Try tonight by going to bed at a good time (allowing 8 hours sleep) and listen to it while you go to sleep, don't worry if you fall asleep whilst listening, and don't worry if you're not focusing intently on the track, just have it playing and enjoy resting.
Keep this up for a few days and you should start to see changes in your motivation levels and a reduction of your stress. Let me know how you get on! ☺️

Hi there Amy, I've struggled with procrastination a lot in the past so I know how you feel.
Using Hypnotherapy tracks every night as you go to sleep is like a cheat way of reducing stress and procrastination. Even if you fall asleep in the first few minutes it's still working while you sleep!
Try it for a week and see what happens, I'd love to hear about any changes you notice :)

I’m disappointed in myself and see my dreams and goals “dying on the vine”. Plus there are financial and health reasons I need to stop procrastinating.

    • @DannyGlasspool
      @DannyGlasspool  4 роки тому +2

Try to visualise what it is you need to do, every day run it over in the mind seeing yourself being at your very best, productive, motivated and enjoying the process. When we visualise the sadness and negativity like the dreams dying on the vine, it encourages more of the same, sadness, negativity (even though I really love the analogy haha I've not heard that saying before it's very poetic!).
I think it would be great to revisit that image, visualise those fruits on the vines springing back into life. Make the image so exciting and positive that the subconscious mind pushes you toward it rather than holding you back.
Don't lose sight of it :) and thanks for commenting.

The brain when under stress will attempt to deal with the problem in a negative way. In this case the problem is the work, and the response is to hide away from it and not do it. Those thoughts are a way that the brain can step in and stop us from facing the problem that is causing us stress and we end up getting distracted. This is classic procrastination.
Avoiding the problem may work in the moment as we will feel fine when watching tv or doing something else, but what we really want is to face the problem and get the work done so we need to calm the brain by dealing with the stress.
How is your sleep? If you're not getting around 7/8 hrs sleep, this is absolutely essential, sleep is how the brain manages stress so start tonight and make sure you get to bed on time. Set an alarm now so you don't forget :)
Listen to a hypnotherapy track while you're going to sleep each night, it doesn't matter if you fall asleep and don't hear it, make sure it's playing because your brain still acts on information while you sleep and will still be working.
If sleep isn't good, make that your focus for the next few days, it makes a huge difference.
Give that a try and let me know what difference you feel in a few days :)
