Thank you for your insight. I really appreciate your honesty! It’s a 1000 people opening up hair companies now so you have to be ahead of the game to survive in this industry. Now that everyone knows about the Alibaba and AliExpress connections, it’s going to get even more competitive. Good luck to those who are trying to get in, just be creative and market like crazy. Good video Sis. ❤️

Girl you are telling my entire story! Like to the Tee! Started in 2015. Worked 9-5, not a stylist just loved business & feel in love with a good product. I definitely needed this.
I feel you, I used to be a hair stylist but I liked the feel of looking glamorous then actually wearing extensions. I thought I could build like everyone else because I saw it happen but I forgot to have tunnel vision and I kept trying to make my brand something like everyone else’s and now I know my real passion isn’t hair or hair extensions. Anyway thank you for making me feel less alone 🖤
Omg this is the story of my life i was making wigs for 7 years and not being my own person I wanted to be just like everyone else 😭😭. I quit that eish in January
You have an excellent video very honest and straight to point. You have learned alot of lessons and shared alot, thank you. Most of which you spoke of not only applies to the Hair Business yet to alot of other businesses especially being that the suppliers are based in China. It's the same story. There is alot of smoke and mirrors and misconceptions.
When I say you said no wrong...I would recommend any.. ANY business person looking to start a hair company to watch this. PLEASE! not negative just realistic.
thank you for your service. I'm also a veteran army 31Q and looking to do something to change my life around for my child in college for her to have something to fall on after school.
Watching this video in 2021 & I feel like this video was ahead of its time. Raw Indian is becoming the standard today and you really were ahead of the wave. I havent seen your other videos but I hope you didn't leave the hair industry
You sound like me. I'm all over trying to have quality. Like you said people dont want quality they're into trends. That's why I'm having an issue. IDK about marketing, and branding. On top of nursing school
You are really stating facts. I am really considering not selling it either. I really don't wear hair like that anymore. I've already reduced what I'm selling on my site and am considering selling different items that is totally different from the hair industry, but still within the beauty industry.
I am a hairstyle and do extension too for a long time but I have never found a good vendor that I can trust to start selling to my client so if you have any idea since you've been to China point me to the right direction that i can get in touch with directly I to start a hair Business any advice ?
glad u made this video im a transformer boi in school who was considering selling wigs but after this I guess im better off being Kardashian assistant lol
Most people don't want good hair...they want hair thats silky and smooth and easy to deal with/work with. What they think is good hair is actually trash that has been fried dyed and laid to the side. The hair they want is dipped in chemicals and coated in silicone. When I watch UA-cam videos and hear the girls say things like "I cant get over how silky this is" I literally cringe. Real hair is not like that no ones hair is naturally that soft and so shiny you can damn near see your reflection in it. Real hair is just that real hair...its not the smooth its not the shiny and it tangles. Raw India is bomb..its real..its actually natural and can be colored/curled/manipulated without excessive damage but 9/10 girls do not want that...they feel it and think its bad hair because its rough and not that shiny when in actuality its some of the best next to European hair. This is why I decided to become a wig maker and learn to ventilate lace wigs hair by hair making custom wigs that look real and match the clients hairline with REAL lace. Raw Indian is mostly what I use besides Russian/Slavic and it works for me..I can sell my wigs for 2 grand up and dont have to deal about the "bundle" community. I really wish people would educate themselves about hair before they go into business..yesterday I watched a video of a girl showing off "her raw Indian deep wave hair" and all I could do was shake my head because I couldn't believe she really thought Indian hair came naturally in a deep wave patter. smh.
Maggie Julio Hairstylist do have an advantage, especially if they are really good at styling and installing extensions but over all I think it depends on the person. Everyone’s experience with selling hair will be unique.

Sad to say everything that it’s materialistic has to be on an influencer to be worth it😔 this video needs more views!! Love how real you keep it.

All great points to consider before jumping into selling hair extensions or anything that requires the same commitment. Thanks for sharing!

Originally followed because of your vendor video. Awesome. But I was wondering if you have some tips on consulting and networking.
