Tim, you've really nailed what youtube wants! the content iss genuinely exciting, long videos with short format content, the video is all over the shop here one minute there the next minute and its super entertaining, that along with the "characters" so to speak like Grumpy Ant! 1 thing always to remember, the tuck you have got on a lot of adventures with and have had many milestones with its worth buying the tuck, u can look back at it when u own it and think about all the memory u had with it and even take it out for a job as its ready and to can sit there and enjoy what you started it all with

you need aftermarket side steps Tim , if you know them rangers it just looks like there broken and stuck out at the mo lol YES GL12 be good to see it back
I've just coded a set of steps to stay out. They do look alot better with them out. Good idea with the switch override. I'll email you the wiring details so you can put a switch in and not affect the Cambus.

Get the steps back on the factory settings, looks way cooler when they pop in and out... plus you are more likely to volley them off on rougher terrain!

Volvo yeah why not oddly enough first job I had was a 60 plate night trunking in a similar truck , what a dream, then I got demoted to a little Volvo lol but still really good truck.

Hi Tim you said you were going to Ireland. There is a truck show at Irvinestown on 15th to 17th July 2023 where they raise money for Marie Curie. It would be brilliant if you would be able to come to it. We go over to it from Scotland every year.

not to menton if you wire that up to a switch your goning to void every factory warranty that truck has
I think you should leave the side step in cause they might get damaged
If you plan on keeping the Ranger for a long time (after the warrenty on it ends), I would probably avoid messing with the steps lol. Anything that "won't work as it came out from the factory" could cause warrenty issues. I've did Stage 1 ECU remap for my car but I made sure to do it after warrenty ends so I could still use it without them saying I messed with it and just end it on sight.
You're emotionally attached to the GL 12, so I dont think our comments will matter whether to buy it or not.😂😂😂❤❤❤
It would be great to see you buy the Volvo as it was there at the starting point for your videos. Drove one for around 5 years on log haulage & walking floors, bloody good wagon. 2 weeks ain't long but you have a good team working on the R Series so hopefully you can show it off at Peterborough. would be great to see the old volvo. but would be even better if you could swap the door with the 2nd truck so you could have the oringal truck with the sticker bombed door form the 2nd which will be the total history of your data shredders journey in one truck.

I'm not sure if your still planning to do work with the r series, but if you do, GL12 would be a good back up truck incase the r series is VOR etc so you don't have to cancel the work aswell as having it for memories.
