Hi Tonya, thanks for the presentation! I'm giving a presentation to my research group on my AFM research this week and this was a great review video to flesh out my uncertainties.
if we use the contact mode then how do we measure the force between the tip and the sample? Because you said with Hooke's Law but in contact mode the x is zero as the tip is in constant contact with the sample.
Hi. Do you mean the functionalization of the AFM probe? That just means to chemically bond some sort of coating to it, for different applications that might need a hydrophilic surface, hydrophobic surface, etc. Other than that could you be a bit more specific? Thanks.
Hello dr. H r u. I hope you fine. Im working now on master research on ceramic surface roughness But i need some help to understand the results and how to discuss it. Can i get your email pls
you make it so easy to understand!! I got a BSc and a MSc in nanotech, so guys believe me, she is nailing this explanations!
I am studying nanotechnologies and this lecture was very helpful for my advanced microscopy exam ! Thank you :)
Thanks for your crystal clear explanations! I aced my exam on AFM and STM :)
Hi Tonya, thanks for the presentation! I'm giving a presentation to my research group on my AFM research this week and this was a great review video to flesh out my uncertainties.
Can yoi share it with me pls
that is the one I was looking for! thanks Tonya, you're the best!
Thank you Professor Tonya for let me know physics have things like AFM, although I am just finding a radio.
Thank you mam for making me understand the basics of AFM spectroscopy.
This was just the info I was looking for, thank you!
Nice lecturer about basic of AFM and very helpful for microscopic technique
Thank you for this informative lecture on Atomic Force Microscopy
Thanks a lot for the efforts that you put into this❤
This is fantastic! Thank You!
Very good talk on Basics Of AFM.
nice informative lecture on basics of AFM
Awesome...informative
Thank you mam for informative lecture on AFM, Basics, modes of operation and force curves and limitations
Thanks mam for such an interesting presentation
Nice and easy explanation of AFM and its various mood
Well explained basics of AFM.. Thank you Maa'm.
Thank you soo much
Thank you very much for giving information about AFM
Nice info on AFM and it's modes
Good information of AFM
by "deflection" do you mean the change in direction i.e the movement of the probe over the sample?
This was really great. Thank you!!
Excellent talk thank you madam
good information madam
Very informative .
Informative session, thank you.
Thank you mam very informative session
Thanks mam basic are clearly explained
Thank you so much for a nice explanation.
Excellent session
Hi Tonya! Great video. Do you have any experience with AFM and graphene?
if we use the contact mode then how do we measure the force between the tip and the sample?
Because you said with Hooke's Law but in contact mode the x is zero as the tip is in constant contact with the sample.
Which text book should I read for the fundamentals of AFM?
Great session
great set. Cant thankyou enough mam!
Amazing, Thank youuuuuuu
Thank you very much
Well explained
thank you well explained
Its very good
awesome
Thank you mam.
i just wonder exactly for which reason they got the NOBEL PRIZE??
thanks
Hello MA'M , plz provide the pdf link you used in the whole lecture
The link you gave in this video is dead. Kindly update.
Gained more information about AFM.
Can you explain what is meant by functionality and characterization? Tq !

Hi Tonya..yes that really helped. Can you explain what is meant by characterization of a sample? Tq.
It just means to understand the sample fully, and the sample's properties.
Tq :)
dogi?
Can u give a link to the pdf for download please
I regret that this pdf is only currently available for download for students of my course.
Tonya Coffey Oh😥😐
Dam she cute
