Alex, this is 100% something you should chase and do more on your channel. I feel like this type of contact mixed in with mountain biking would be holy cow, so good I really truly enjoy these videos and your perspective on the travels. Keep up the awesome work. Live free ride hard get stoked!
Holy crap your travel series was just amazing! You took this to the next level. It was so well shot, edited and presented. You have a natural talent for storytelling. I would love to see you do a travel collab with Downie Live. You two have such great positive vibes.
Finally!!! Of course I love the riding vids but this has been a great change of pace. Of course we would support you on traveling and bringing us more great content from around the world.
Alex, these are amazing videos. Editing is really good and so is the story you have created with this journey. Look forward to more. My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed. We also liked the added touch of music choices.
More Singletrack travels please. I usually give your videos a like as you always manage to find a great balance between beautiful visuals and a great voiceover, plus your bike skills are at a good level. Have you ever thought of doing a European tour?
Yes please, loved the travel vlog style. More of this in the future. Many more MTB destinations in Europe to explore. European bike park, single track in Scotland??? Defo can combine both.
Great video! I went to Austria for the first time when I was 15 back in 2003 and had my first beer at the same beer hall you went to in Salzburg! I also visited a few of the same spots in the video so it was a great way to see how it is still the same and made me think of all the good times I had there. Thank you!!
just watched the whole trip and man it brings some good memories from 12 years ago when I visited Rotemburg, Salzburg and Hallstatt among others with my parents. In july I'll be heading to the alps once more and this videos just made me even more pumped! Cheers man continue traveling and riding!
The music you used for the Hallstatt footage was amazingly perfect. The town felt like a scene out of a videogame, and the music matched. Absolutely loved it!
I went to Austria on a work trip back in 2018. It was winter time so lot of the outdoor attractions weren't open. That said, I did manage to find a shop to rent a fat bike and went for a ride in the snowy hills near the mountains. It was quite an experience!
Have loved these videos. 100% expand to some travel stuff. You've got a great personality for it and your love for biking and beer (haha) etc means it won't be just the same old same old travel vlogs... Come back to Europe and do more... And would love to see some American stuff too...
What an amazing series, Alexander! Heck yeah, incorporate some mountain biking with travel abroad, and you would be the Rick Steves of MTB! Thank you for taking us along.
Dude.. I've been looking forward to this one for so long. Haven't even watched it yet but I'm stoked!! for it. This was such a well done series.. Love it!!
Man, you're making me want to get back to Europe so bad. I really dug this video series. You did a nice job getting across the fun and adventure of travel. Definitely hope to see more travel stuff from you.
Quite a few years ago I was fortunate enough to take a trip over in Europe where part of the journey followed your same path. So cool to see so many of those places again. Such a special place. Thanks for sharing the journey with us!!!!!
FYI MTB riding up and down from the Castles in Fussen is amazing. Did it many years ago as I took a 2 month bike an train tour of Europe. Glad you had fun but take a bike next time !
Brings back memories from when I visited. Id love to go back, it was so beautiful. The tours of the inside of the castles are cool. Nice trip! I’ve been enjoying your videos for awhile now.
100% enjoyed your travel videos. This is something you are very natural at and I think mixing these types of videos with mountain biking will work very well. I'm looking forward to more of your adventures; you have a great attitude!
I love these travel videos! You should definitely continue with these! I watch a lot of ”Rick Steves” and other travel shows, and I can see that you have a lot of talent for showing what it’s like to explore another country. It’s fun to see these places from the perspective of someone who is experiencing them for the first time. My wife and I took our then 3-year-old daughter to Germany, Switzerland, and Austria back in September 2017. We hit many of the same sites that you did. This makes me want to go back!!!
Damned, that was a good series! As an austrian i really appreciate how you talk about my country. We also have a lot of good mountain bike trails. You should really come here again for an awesome bike trip! Cheers! And try some more awesome food an wine :3
As an Austrian, your Europe travel vlogs were nice to see! I love how much you and your friends enjoyed everything, it made me realize again how beautiful it is around here! 😊 I‘m glad you did a taste test of the pine schnaps, it‘s the best one in my opinion and yes, pear schnaps does taste like fuel 😂😂😂
Saw all three, was a delightful in doing that, your photography was on point, showed how easily travel around Europe by public transport and food/drink look nice. The vibe btw all three of 3 also made the Vlogs great as everyone seems enjoy the trip. Be interesting to see what comes next, nice departure from the usual mtb blogs, which are sick as usual.
Great video once again, you definitely picked a fine collection of destinations. The travel vlog was a refreshing change to your content, it doesn't need to be as special as a coming over to europe but mixing this type of content between your cycling videos at least for me would be interesting.
Always a treat to catch a video by you, and I can only join the other comments below me - these travel videos were ace! Also, as an Austrian it's always funny and weird to get those "OH IT'S FROM SOUND OF MUSIC" references. That movie is _not_ a thing here. Nobody knows it, nobody has seen it, it is not considered anything close to real. But ... well, it's folklore, whatcha gonna do.^^
Had to laugh at the Rick Steves mention @ 12:22 In 2004 when I was living in Italy in the USAF, my family came to visit and Rick's Guide to Italy was highly referenced. However in Rome he suggested a bus tour that started on a random corner of Piazza Venezia, well that bus never showed, but we did get to see a homeless guy jerking off hahahaha so Rick became a negative reference after that. I also spent a lot of time in Austria while living over their, cool to see your experiences over there.
You could do "duelling videos" if you worked riding into your trips...one vid channeling Anthony Bourdain, one vid of the riding in the area. Just a thought. Thanks for taking us along for the ride!
Great video man! I've been to Germany a few times an love it. We have a family trip to Germany, Austria, Czech next year. Garmisch is definitely on the list.
Very captivating video. Thanks for sharing your adventure with us! Strange to see you not mountain biking but very entertaining and good narration and videography.
Hey Alex, very entertaining video. I hope the next time you're in Moab you would consider a video just like this. From a tourist's point of view. We've all seen videos of the trails surrounding Moab, let's see the town and what else there is to do there. Thanks!
Great video bro! I just stumbled across it, and said, "Hey, it's the Mountain Bike Guy in Germany!" I've been to all the places you visited and you presented them extremely well... I'm gonna watch the whole series now and look forward to your transition to Travel Vlogger!
I thought it was a well done, entertaining video. Alex can also find mountain biking trails in some of the towns he goes to, to keep the roots of the channel
How about you and Brian (BKXC) do an International Redemption series? Make it longer with the travel/culture similar to this short series added in. Mo and Hannah have a pretty good version going, I'd like to see where you'd go with it. Travel and biking? I'm down. Cheers
Hey Alexander, glad to see you traveling. For traveling, may I suggest getting a Charles Schawb checking account. Their debit card has a ATM fee reimbursement. So any ATM charge gets paid back to your account. I used it all the time when I went to Vietnam, Thailand, and Australia.
@4:32 Linderhoff is gorgeous, but is it roccoco, which is over the top sicky sweet. Did you go in Neuschwanstein? That one is worth it. Herrenchiemsee is probably the most impressive, though.
Alex, really hope you get to Sample some Singletracks all over europe and wherever else sparks ur interest. Look at BKXC...just did an EPIC trip down to PERU!!! Where do we get to see you get super stoked to ride? And I'm not talking about anywhere in the states...
That were some great places you visited. Still only a fraction of what Germany has to offer. That was all in the same of 1 out of 16 states ;) And you missed some great riding opportunities:) you should come back to do a bike tour around the country. I bet there are a lot of Germans watching that would share their home trails with you. Keep it up man!!! And if you want to dons beer trip, visit my other home country, Belgium ;).
This would have been even more interesting to see the MTB trails. I think this’d be a great direction for future stuff. There are other people doing travel+MTB vids, and while they’re good at the MTB part, honestly they’re not very good tour guides. Alex has a great way of narrating the trip.
I`ve been lucky enough tour Austria ,Italy ,Switzerland ,Lichtenstein my favorite Slovenia .I`ve mtbiked a few places as well. All the mtbiking was a great assent with a great downhill ,very little actual x-country mtbiking .Do you find any ????
I appreciated the travel video! Worthless fun fact: Germany has more castle sites than the USA has McDonalds. You could spend a lot of time castle exploring just in Germany!
Alex, this is 100% something you should chase and do more on your channel. I feel like this type of contact mixed in with mountain biking would be holy cow, so good I really truly enjoy these videos and your perspective on the travels. Keep up the awesome work. Live free ride hard get stoked!
Yess, welcome to Austria dude!
Thank you and your beautiful country for the amazing hospitality!
Holy crap your travel series was just amazing! You took this to the next level. It was so well shot, edited and presented. You have a natural talent for storytelling. I would love to see you do a travel collab with Downie Live. You two have such great positive vibes.

Yes please, loved the travel vlog style. More of this in the future. Many more MTB destinations in Europe to explore. European bike park, single track in Scotland??? Defo can combine both.
Dude! Your story telling is next level. Seth, bk and you, the big three. I’d love to visit. Thanks for sharing!🤙🏽
I think you would love Mountainbiking in Austria, France, Italy, Germany and Switzerland dude!
Great video! I went to Austria for the first time when I was 15 back in 2003 and had my first beer at the same beer hall you went to in Salzburg! I also visited a few of the same spots in the video so it was a great way to see how it is still the same and made me think of all the good times I had there. Thank you!!

Am planning a MTB trip to saalbach hinterglemm next summer. It's the biggest biking area in Austria
You need to visit the Bikepark at Reschensee, beautiful and challenging singletracks!
Love it!!

Great video!! Will you be at the backcountry bash? If so, then I will see you there. Thanks for putting out amazing content!!
Brings back memories from when I visited. Id love to go back, it was so beautiful.
The tours of the inside of the castles are cool.
Nice trip! I’ve been enjoying your videos for awhile now.
The Augustine Brau was one of my favorite things about Salzburg. The food was good
100% enjoyed your travel videos. This is something you are very natural at and I think mixing these types of videos with mountain biking will work very well. I'm looking forward to more of your adventures; you have a great attitude!

Alex that was so cool....I had been to most of the places as a kid, back in the 70's even skied at Zugspitze! Cheers to your next adventure
So stoked you enjoyed it dude, it was certainly an incredible trip! So cool you've skied on Zugspitze!
As an Austrian, your Europe travel vlogs were nice to see! I love how much you and your friends enjoyed everything, it made me realize again how beautiful it is around here! 😊
I‘m glad you did a taste test of the pine schnaps, it‘s the best one in my opinion and yes, pear schnaps does taste like fuel 😂😂😂
I love this, and you re-ignited my travel bug.. I miss that feeling..
ps: if you could focus more on the biking parts of your travels, it's a win-win situation :)
What a Great video... Content, editing, production, presenter (of course!). Awesome job Alex🎉
I went to Hallstatt on my honeymoon, what a magical town!
I really enjoyed this travel mini-series, and I hope you get to do more of them soon
Loved these videos of you in Germany and Austria.
Definitely do more of these travel type of videos. I love them!
Funny to see my home places through your eyes :)
If you ever come back to Austria let me show you our trails and bikeparks ;)
that little town on the lake is amazing!!great vid man!!
Loved all of these videos!! Great quality and very well shot! Thanks for sharing!
Loved this travel series, you make a great travel show host. Hope to see more of these videos (along with biking)
I loved this video so stoked you guys had a great time!
Amazing video, and funny thing this is almost exactly what we will visit this summer:) Thanks Alex
Great video once again, you definitely picked a fine collection of destinations. The travel vlog was a refreshing change to your content, it doesn't need to be as special as a coming over to europe but mixing this type of content between your cycling videos at least for me would be interesting.
great video, would love to see more of that, I like biking, but this is also exciting. was great to see you here in Europe!

This was great to watch! I really enjoyed it.

This was an amazing episode. I loved it.
20:14 BKXC has the market on overseas mountain biking.
Hey Alex, very entertaining video. I hope the next time you're in Moab you would consider a video just like this. From a tourist's point of view. We've all seen videos of the trails surrounding Moab, let's see the town and what else there is to do there. Thanks!
Austria is always freezing.. i dont know why but i always love being there
Great video! I'd loved to see more content like this from you. Keep them coming ;)
You should absolutely be making more travel vlogs!
This travel series was amazing👌 planning cartrip to Alps for next summer from Finland and came across these😊 Thank you!
So happy you enjoyed it!!
Great series thanks for sharing
Great video bro! I just stumbled across it, and said, "Hey, it's the Mountain Bike Guy in Germany!" I've been to all the places you visited and you presented them extremely well... I'm gonna watch the whole series now and look forward to your transition to Travel Vlogger!
This is your thing Alex. I'd look forward to an anual series where you visit a new place.
I thought it was a well done, entertaining video. Alex can also find mountain biking trails in some of the towns he goes to, to keep the roots of the channel
I’ve done that walk a couple times, it’s not that bad. Builds character. That bridge above feels sketchy AF when you’re on it with 100 other tourists.
i really enjoy this travel vlog
Man you have peaked my interest on some over seas travel. Thanks for posting these!
Check out petzen in Slovenia if you are nearby. 11km flow track
How about you and Brian (BKXC) do an International Redemption series? Make it longer with the travel/culture similar to this short series added in. Mo and Hannah have a pretty good version going, I'd like to see where you'd go with it. Travel and biking? I'm down. Cheers
Yah, I would love a series with mountain biking that also showcases places and culture.
That was excellent...more would be good.
Great video. Didn't you go into the salt mine in Hallstadt? That is so cool.
Man I miss Germany!! Great video man!
love the content!!
Austria is wonderful but looks to cold you need to go to Finale Ligure ride in the warm sun and the beach.🤙🏻✌🏻🤟🏻
@4:32 Linderhoff is gorgeous, but is it roccoco, which is over the top sicky sweet. Did you go in Neuschwanstein? That one is worth it. Herrenchiemsee is probably the most impressive, though.
Sooo epik awesome video lovet
You gotta get up top the mountain lakes above Salzburg up past the Red Bull headquarters!
Alex, really hope you get to Sample some Singletracks all over europe and wherever else sparks ur interest. Look at BKXC...just did an EPIC trip down to PERU!!! Where do we get to see you get super stoked to ride? And I'm not talking about anywhere in the states...
Yeah man, the Singletrack traveller!
Thank you for sharing your vacation
It would also be cool is you did a MTB Tour like what @BKXC does
I was hoping we'd see you downhill on the Matterhorn
I'm into this!
If the views/revenue stacks up, I'd love to see you take on more foreign adventures!
Much more "real" than conventional travel shows!
That were some great places you visited. Still only a fraction of what Germany has to offer. That was all in the same of 1 out of 16 states ;)
And you missed some great riding opportunities:) you should come back to do a bike tour around the country. I bet there are a lot of Germans watching that would share their home trails with you.
Keep it up man!!!
And if you want to dons beer trip, visit my other home country, Belgium ;).
Follow your dreams, euro trip with riding and touring edits, another van build for europe perhaps, go for it 🤙
epic travel guide video
This would have been even more interesting to see the MTB trails. I think this’d be a great direction for future stuff.
There are other people doing travel+MTB vids, and while they’re good at the MTB part, honestly they’re not very good tour guides. Alex has a great way of narrating the trip.
Yo come to Chamonix Mont Blanc in the French Alpes. It has great mountain biking!
I watch your channel to see all the trails in North America that I will probably never get to. And suddenly you practically pass by my house 😅.
Next time you should do Megavalanche!
Nice video keep Ridinf!
Did you happen to visit Hallstatt on a Sunday? We plan on visiting in September (mid-week) and were curious why all of those shops were closed.
I’m now waiting for a collab with BKXC and you to ride in some destination.
I appreciated the travel video! Worthless fun fact: Germany has more castle sites than the USA has McDonalds. You could spend a lot of time castle exploring just in Germany!
Come visit New Zealand!
This may be the most enjoyable tourism series I’ve ever watched. I think you’re onto something.. go visit somewhere else. I’ll watch it. 👍
Next time you should do some Mountainbiking in Austria
Was about to recommend the same. Maybe next time choose a period of better weather and bring a bike!
Awesome adventure! How long was your trip? October? Did you feel time cramped to get stuff in or things that were left out b/c of time? Love all this!
More travel vid's please, thats so much more fun for us European's 😜
It has to MTB content, but travel MTB content YES. I would love to see you ride outside of the USA.
Very nice closing statements. Well, except maybe you shouldn't do it topless 🤣 Definitely want to see more of this kind of travel videos.
