creature singing “Hi Ho, Hi Ho”, RUN! 😂
I think that the Bigfoot was enjoying the kids singing and ran ahead so that he/she could enjoy the singing without the extraneous noise of walking through the forest. Your thought, Cam, could very well have been a part of his/her motivation in leap frogging the group on the switchbacks. Both stories were very good and quite entertaining; thank you very much Mr. Cameron.
Poor old Sasquatch was probably thinking “I guide your behinds safely out of the forest, and this is the thanks I get??” Who knows what else was there, ready to pounce!? That was an awesome encounter!
I loved the stories of that lady’s family, too, especially grandpa getting flicked off that Squatch like a pesky fly!

When I think of all the times my (then) husband and I went backpacking in the wilderness with no tent, just mummy bags, in the most remote places. I can imagine now, those big hairy creatures passing by and thinking, "Nah! Not even enough to bother with...just a nibble..." Hi ho!

That Sasquatch was probably curious with the singing and probably protecting them from a possible Dogman that he knew of in the area. Sasquatch and Dogman are natural enemies. Throwing rocks at Sasquatch not a wise thing to do was probably pissing it off.

That Squatch had plenty chance if it wanted to do harm . It was escorting you folks out. (Which most definitely seems to be normal behavior.) But you guys made it more interesting for it, by singing. I always read they are drawn to singing and like it. You may be right, it's possible it was making sure no harm came to you. They are extremely intelligent and was making sure you all made it out.

Cam ,I also love hearing 2nd hand stories expically from decades ago!! That was scary, I picture myself right there in the story, and wow ..I couldn't imagine knowing that the mean bull might kill me as I ran through the pasture, but to trip and fall on a Sasquatch, holy moly ,that was close and personal, he's another lucky gentleman, just getting slapped away ,I can't even imagine what that felt like ...our heavenly father sure was looking out for these 2 gentleman !!! Yikes!!

Ive been listening to you narrate storys for over a year now and I truely enjoy your narrative and your accent! I am from Washington state and have lived close to the Lummi Indian Nation. Since I was a small child we have been aware of Sasquatch i our area. There was even a police patrol vehicle that had its door ripoed from the car! Thats right big news and everything. I had my first encounter on Thanksgiving 1970. And another one in 1980. These stories I will send to you. I have since been listening to Nance and Steve from How to Hunt, Steve living just north of where Im from. Keep up the good work and Ill get those encounters your way soon.

I love the second hand stories, too. The ones from way back are very interesting. Things like using the stars to navigate. Then we have a modern one that choose not to use a flashlight to see Bigfoot 🤷♀️🤔 how could they not know they would need one, even just for hiking so close to nighttime?
