- Octomom and her famous offspring are jumping for joy as the octuplets turn 10 and Inside Edition was invited to their birthday. Natalie "Nadya" Suleman still has her hands full as her 14 children get bigger and older. “Yes, we are struggling,” she said. “Yes, we are in financial hardship.” However, she said her children are her greatest joy. Suleman, who is a vegan and raising her kids vegan, said her way of “recharging” is “by trying to lead the healthiest lifestyle as I could.” #InsideEdition
the best thing for her is she didnt abandon her kids or give them for adoption despite the struggle
She used IVF. She 'wanted' all 8 of them.

I am literally amazed at how she has raised her children. She needs to write a blog on how to get children to be more responsible. Washing and drying dishes, folding clothes, cooking meals at age ten??? My mother in law struggles to get her ten year old to pick up HIS OWN MESS. Say what you want but I want to learn whatever it is that she is teaching these kids.
I can tell you, me and my sister had to do lots of stuff in the house from about age 5. We did everything every week and got pocketmoney on Saturday morning. Sometimes I didn't want to vacuum or whatever and started a drama-show but it didn't help, I still had to do it! I am do happy that my parents raised me that way, to workand earn our pocketmoney.

Ikr....I was thinking the same thing, you’re in financial hardship yet you live close to LA? One of the most overpriced areas in the country? Could probably get like a 6 bedroom place in a Florida or Texas suburb (or some random middle of nowhere state/town) for the same price of less....but then again I imagine her support system is in the LA area, so she probably doesn’t have much of a choice.

Because it isn't someone else's responsibility, whether they have money or not. She is not the only struggling single parent with a LOT of children. You cannot buy houses for everyone having a hard time. I have a disabled child and I've struggled financially b/c of having to leave several jobs over it and I could have used help from time to time. However, I had my son for a reason and he was my responsibility, not anyone else's. I managed that best I could, survived, and made it work.
Why can't people take responsibility for their own choices and stop expecting other people to provide for them?

Heck, many people that went to college end up not pursuing their major and venture into a different field instead. I remember when this first became big news in 2008 and it was all anyone could talk about. Like how dangerous/stupid it was for her to carry all 8 at once, how she already had 6 kids to take care of and how there was no father figure present. I must say that this family seems to be doing quite well. Her children seem like all around good kids. Sure she has done tv interviews and other stuff “exploiting” her family/situation. But given she’s a single mom w/14 kids to provide for I cant really say I blame her
