Great vid. .Just picked up a 6 speed 07 a couple weeks ago for a daily. Really a bargain car for the whole package. Its going to be really hard to keep it stock.
Keeping it stock is a struggle as the car gets more and more rewarding to drive as you add quality upgrades.
190whp is decent for the tsx, especially the powerband how it continues on. These K engines are very impressive! I'm sure with a better intake mani, headers, full exhaust, a CAI, and a tune will bump it up to 215-220whpx which is more than enough for a TSX! Map props!
I intend to modify it further at some point. But I just enjoy it so much as is I hate to mess with it 🤣.
My RSX-S with a K24a and a Z1 head put down 224hp. You bet he can squeeze some more love out of that engine. Honda is the BEST!

You are correct. Its an ASP3 trans, and it basically has the same gearing as an RSX Type S, and is a direct swap. The speedo will read a little bit higher the more it climbs, but trust me, you will enjoy the gearing, LSD, and reliability, since the casing is aluminum, instead of magnesium.
Thanks for the confirmation! We completely expect the transmission to make one of the most dramatic changes in the driving experience of the car. The magnesium case is one of the reasons why I wanted to pull the transmission out for the aluminum Euro R one.
Look up Honda part #21200-rap-000, (the 03-07 USDM Accord 2.4 5 speed manual case, same case as the Euro-R 6 speed Accords) and the clutch case from USDM Accord 2.4 5 speed manual is the same as well, just all aluminum, not the like TSX or CL9 Accords, which are aluminum/magnesium. Honda clutch case part #21000-RAP-315...Just swap over the 6 speed guts from an SI/RSX and you have a ''Euro-R tranny that will drop in all 04-08 TSX's. I am building an all aluminum case for my backup for my 06 TSX, essentially the exact same tranny as the CL7, no difference, same case, clutch case as well...KEEP THESE GEMS ON THE ROAD PEOPLE !!!!
I have a 2007 Acura TSX and wondering if there is one thing I can do to jump the Horsepower? Chip? Hard to find a garage that does that type of work.
I wish there were more parts for the gen 2 tsx. I love mine but alot of stuff has been fitted custom so far. I want a tune but idk if serge has one for the 09’s

The gen 2 tsx is ugly
So I hit a curb recently and ruined my passenger side suspension. Bent lower ca and upper spindel. What kits would you recommend for changing out the whe front suspension? Aftermarket not oem. But also not racing/expensive. Just wondering
Moog brand control arms and suspension bits are high quality aftermarket parts.
Will you be upgrading the final drive as well? It will be the best time to do so. I’m sure there is a lot of options for that Honda transmission, lol
That I won't be doing. From what I've read the Euro R gearing is just right. Hopefully we can get to it soon.

How come you didn’t do a cold air intake? That’s what I did to mine and got a couple of more HP
Commiefornia cops would be less likely to care about a airbox that looks stock. CAI gains HP but loses TQ most times. But this is in the interest of seeing where the car is at not making max HP.

Where did you purchase the trans and what did it cost if you don’t mind me asking?
We found the transmission right before prices sky rocketed last June for $900. It was purchased from someone who bought it from HMO here in SOCAL.

Is that 190whp? How many crank horsepower would then be?
I'm sure if you put it in some sort of calculator online it would give you an estimate. But I'm sure it would be close to 200-210hp. Which is close to what it was rated when new.
May I know your tcf value in your dyno？
I'd have to ask my buddy who own the Dyno for that.
Hehe i dynod my tsx on that same dyno. I was at 169 at the hubs
Nice, I hope to see more people comment so that we can get a general consensus of what a completely stock TSX would be. I am very happy with 190hp. We hope to see close or over 200whp with the header and exhaust.

@@DreEzed they can vary for sure. But the more important thing is to go to the same one consistently so that you can measure actual gains on the same Dyno. Glad to see more TSX people comment 👌

@@luisaguilar9907 the 06-08 TSX K is the highest HP Stock K series motor for U.S. cars. Its really a matter what your are going for. I'm sure mods will make up any difference.
