When this came out we all knew it was an instant classic. The guitar work is legendary. This band truly delivered great songs played great and we all here 5 yrs later still loving it
I can hear the mid era TSOL influence here as well.. I was thinking this is what RUDIMENTARY PENI would sound like fronted by Rozz Williams during 'only theater of pain" era Christian Death. All comparisons aside, SLIMY MEMBER have created a fukkn masterpiece with this LP. Already on my 2017 top ten. Amazing!
This fucking rips! I'm an old school punk/Peni head etc... and this is alot like RP. I've still got my original RP death church LP and the two 45 eps on vinyl that I bought when they came out early 80's, imported to Vinyl Fetish Hollywood. Love this. Thanks for uploading.
I just checked this out today. this is really really good. No Deal is my latest subscription. So many good stuff in this channel. I'm showing all my friends here in NYC!
This channel is a fucking throat punch; sign me up. Been obsessed with Rope Sect and Cemetery recently. Dude who runs Caligary records turned me on to some killer shit, and now this. Thanks, dude!
"Oceanic feeling" is the jam! I really like guitar work thruoutout the record and the vocals and lyrics are savage and harsh. Great record. Shout out from the bay area 650/415 hc
The bass really sounds like peni, they sound like if they mixed with dead kennedys and more grindy vocals, as far as the surfer aspects sound imo the fast drumming sounds like it to me
Something tells me rudimentary peni is a huge influence on these guys. Slimy member was a song on death church. Their bass is tone is almost exactly the same sound. They just do it their way though. Its rad.
“Ugly people, what’s wrong with that, all I see is ugly people”. - A Massachusetts dude with a white turtle neck who sounds eerily like Gilbert Gottfried.
@Denny Hanley I think you haven't put a Peni record inna while throw on TSOL while you're at it. I mean it's punk rock dude how original is it possibly gonna get
@@derekturner8692 when you say sounds like icons of filth do you mean his voice or the music ?. Musically id say that sound more like rundamenty peni but he dous sound abit like I o f singer a great band live btw he died a few years ago. Rip
First. Your shittin me they're from Texas ??! Second. I was just going to ask where the fuck y'all getting MDC influence from but ... Nevermind Third. I still hear Peni ,UK Subhumans and some definite early 80's LA which could be anyone from China white to TSOL to ... New York and some Kraut influence ? Hmm. Fourth. Killer release and band. Highbrow music ,not for the easily amused. Also reminds me of Chelsea.
Alright let's get down to the nuts and bolts of this sounds like game . First Rudimentary Peni sounds nothing like this album ! It's unable to be even Called close to because Peni is and always will be its own creation . Influenced by Peni ? Maybe more easier to say show of hands what bands haven't been influenced by after hearing Nick blinko belt out death church? So had to clarify that part . So influenced yes agree ! But sounds more like I'm going out on a branch hear saying the Damned who I really couldn't stand and yeah I'm gonna say jack in TSOL after the code blue album , forgot name of album but definitely it was after Todd Barnes the drummer died . Sounds exactly like him almost to the core ! That's all I have to say about that .
RIP MALCOLM WILLIAMS WE LOVE YOU FOREVER
7 years later and this still sounds very fresh
R.I.P. MAL. Thank you for this record. See ya at the gig in the next life. Much love

Im an ugly person, this made me feel good.
Beautiful people get all the attention.
We're all ugly here
youre all bags of meat in my eyes, just that some meat bags are uglier than others 💀💀💀
Fuckin' love you, ya ugly fuck
Pretty boys are not allowed in punk ...ugly and proud .

rudimentary x peni started the wave bruh lol
Yep I reckon you nailed it with that description
Forgive my nitpicky bitchiness, but Dance With Me TSOL would be early era...not mid!

New to this album. Really cool. Perhaps It reminds me of smoking pot with my friends listening to Mighty Sphincter many decades ago

This is absolutely wonderful
one of my favs to come out this year. best song to me is "always the victim"
Good stuff...this just popped up on auto play...didnt even know who it was but i thought "surf peni-agent orange?" Love it lol
This is awesome!
I had to listen to this after reading the album title. Fucking classic. The music's cool too 👍🏻
Gracias!
God I really love "All too Real"
Really great
Outstanding. I hear a lot of agent orange as well as RP. Their sound is distinctly American though I find.
Repress coming on Drunken Sailor's bandcamp, 300 copies, probably never to be repressed again because of the defunct status of the band, don't sleep.
Is this 1981? I like it

Oh shit that's right!
DO YOU WANNA SEE - DO YOU WANNA KNOW
I had Burger King and then pretzels and then twizzlers and I don’t feel so good but it’s all good just drink plenty of water. Shout out Slimy Memberz
