Brian shaw will always be my favorite no doubt, he's just such a humble dude for the sport😂, I also like zydrunus zaviskas? Cause of his raw strength is pretty great
Honestly it was pretty smooth too. An uninjured, well prepped Pritchett is an animal. It'll be crazy to see what his son can do in ~10 years if he sticks with it.
What makes this even more impressive is that he did it the day after getting his CNS pounded by the Bale Tote and the Frame carry. When Eddie did his record breaking deadlifts, he had the advantage of being rested up and recovered.
eddi can routinely pull 1050+, this will be beaten whenever he next decides to perform in this competition, he only stopped at 1021 last year because brian matched em and they just split it, like him and brian normally do in competitions, but expect him to beat this by a decent margin next time he competes in this competition. Jerry is strong, but not Eddi strong.
"Eddie Hall doesn't train for 1 rep max" - lol. yes he's training fitness a lot for WSM but it's dumb to say he doesn't train for 1rm. he's said he's going for the bench WR soon too
also, this bar bent way more than eddies lift, and the plates covered more length on the ground,. meaning he was able to straighten up a bit before the load all went onto his back. details like this make a big difference in weight lifted. Not to take anything away from an amazing, amazing lift.
I'm missing something here. Rogue has the results on their page and show Brian Shaw in first place with 991 and Jerry Pritchett in 2nd Place with 986. ???
Uh no the whole world knows who the true Deadlift king is and that's Eddie Hall with his 500kg 1,102lbs WORLD RECORD. If Eddie was there he would dominate this event.
Honestly is more impressive a DL like this (RAW) than the heavier done by Eddie Hall with the suit. Obviously max respect to Eddie Hall but i prefer the RAW way
Deadlift is by far the lift where the suit makes the least difference. At this point its more to protect from tears and injury than anything else, its not even close the difference something like a bench suit makes. Again, using straps with double overhand is to help prevent bicep tears.
Eddie still has the record with 500kg ;) noone cares about a elephant bar deadlift record, jerry is a great deadlifter but he will never pull 500kg there is only one king of deadlift and that's Eddie ;)
I don't know if Eddie will try it because he damn near died when he did 500kg, that mustve scared the he'll out of him. Let's face it, Eddie basically reached the human body max.
Overhand with straps will help prevent bicep tears. With one hand over and one under its much more likely you will tear a bicep on the under hand arm. I don't think I have ever seen anyone pull deadlift with double underhand... That would be very strange.
MrPikkabo....it was a different bar so the suit is not part of the equation. Two very different comps aswell. Hall pulled 465kg the year before on this bar you really think he couldn't put on a few more kilo?
What? How is the suit not in the equation? There is a reason why suited lifters compete in a different class from raw lifters. Edit: Also, Hall has dropped down like 30KG bodyweight. No chance in hell he's as strong as he was last year.
In training you are calm as a baby, in competition you have to deal with nerves. Plus I'm willing to bet they get extra money for breaking records, so no need to pull your best and then never see that extra money again.
Elephant bar or Kangaroo bar, it doesn't matter. We all know who can lift the most, and has done so. These "records" are silly with their segmentations. Currently there is only one human being on Earth that has the biggest pull... rules, regulations or bars otherwise, and that's Eddie at 500kg. That's what a true "WORLD" record should be. Having said that, this was a great pull from Jerry. It's just not the biggest number the World.
Look at the happiness and applause by Dimitar and other guys watching
i love how happy dimitar is about this.. strongman really is the best sport
Mr. Savatinov a legend himself. Love how these folks can cheer for eachother
Amazing you give us that high quality videos so fast after the event ! Good job Rogue !
I'm from AZ and I'm proud that we have a record holder
Joe Kalani I would rather have Shaw but at least he's an American
Brian shaw will always be my favorite no doubt, he's just such a humble dude for the sport😂, I also like zydrunus zaviskas? Cause of his raw strength is pretty great
Ran into him when I went out to eat with a couple friends. He's a really cool guy.
Honestly it was pretty smooth too. An uninjured, well prepped Pritchett is an animal. It'll be crazy to see what his son can do in ~10 years if he sticks with it.
Seeing Brian Shaw cheer him on in the background just shows how great all the guys are and how they simply love the sport
The music and edit are fantastic! The shot from the back at 0:29 is so will done! Really get you pumped up!
The editig on this videos mixed with the music makes it looks even more badass
somehow i still feel like bennis 1015 pull raw with no straps is the best deadlift in history
wasn't it done with a host that is notorious to faking weight on the bar?
True dat. Love strongman but the straps just don't fit with my idea of the worlds strongest man
agreed 100 percent
Casper sanderson may I ask what are the straps and what do they do?
Vincent Nguyen they assist your grip, which makes it easier for your hands to hold more weight
What a feat! Hats off to Jerry... These guys are out of this world. I'm gonna go sit in a corner and cry with my 515 deadlift lol Hats off Jerry.
Still more than 99.9% of people using weights can do.
The lift in and of itself was amazing, but when paired to that music...man what a combo. Can’t stop watching 👍
AMAZING image quality! A thousand thanks for this glorious 21:9 footage
whats the name of the song?
What makes this even more impressive is that he did it the day after getting his CNS pounded by the Bale Tote and the Frame carry. When Eddie did his record breaking deadlifts, he had the advantage of being rested up and recovered.
trollforlife blah blah blah, coulda shoulda woulda
and? when eddie pulled the 462kg record he had just flown in after doing the Arnold in another country.
Pretty sure it's the world record on the elephant bar...
They edit it for some reason
Ready to see you win this year!
The king of deadlift 😈🦾
These promos are so fucking dope
The man is from another planet. 💯🌟🌟🌟🌟💯
great work rogue
it's music make the video more awesome.
"Heaviest deadlift ever taken"....er, not quite. How quickly some forget.
... with the elephant bar and straps, is what he should have said
Absolutely
Gordon Heaney if it did not happen in murica it has never happened according to kaz lol
Which is the heaviest one? I would like t owatch it :)
GFUNKMW look up Eddie Hall 500kg
Those Rogue deep dish plates look so good.
eddi can routinely pull 1050+, this will be beaten whenever he next decides to perform in this competition, he only stopped at 1021 last year because brian matched em and they just split it, like him and brian normally do in competitions, but expect him to beat this by a decent margin next time he competes in this competition. "Eddie Hall doesn't train for 1 rep max" - lol. yes he's training fitness a lot for WSM but it's dumb to say he doesn't train for 1rm. he's said he's going for the bench WR soon too
Obviously he would choose WSM title, it's his no1 goal, but Eddie is strong enough to pick up deadlift and bench world records on the way
also, this bar bent way more than eddies lift, and the plates covered more length on the ground,. meaning he was able to straighten up a bit before the load all went onto his back. details like this make a big difference in weight lifted. Not to take anything away from an amazing, amazing lift.
its not the strength but height. deadlift favors the shorter.
didn't Eddie Hall deadlift 500kg? (1,102lb) why are they saying it's the heaviest ever. or are they just talking about the elephant bar?
God those are beautiful weight plates. I want to work out more now just to use those.
Those are some beautiful plates. My gym has some shitty old ones that are trash.
eddie the best
are the records different on all bar types because the tyre lift was more than eddie halls current record in 2017
form so fucking clean.
insane!!
Brad dingleberry has done 10 plates as well
did he use anabolic?
anyone know the name of the song?
Bgm awesome
I AM FAN JERRY PRITHETT MOSTER
I'm missing something here. Rogue has the results on their page and show Brian Shaw in first place with 991 and Jerry Pritchett in 2nd Place with 986. ???
this was just a record attempt. He used up his three contest attempts before this.
man he should have used this, never the less its spectacular
What type of rogue plates are those ?? Is it chromed
Does anyone know where that soundtrack is from??
Uh no the whole world knows who the true Deadlift king is and that's Eddie Hall with his 500kg 1,102lbs WORLD RECORD.
If Eddie was there he would dominate this event.
Eddie has never won Arnold. Its also a different deadlift record on a different bar.
FYI Eddie had the Reocord on the Elephant bar, then was breaked by Jerry Pritchet and then Haftor
I liked eddies.. He went beltless.
Why is his 1031 and Eddie was 1102
Different bar different comp.
So this is the new, official record?
The best part was watching the guys in back cheer
Made it almost look easy ;)
Honestly is more impressive a DL like this (RAW) than the heavier done by Eddie Hall with the suit. Obviously max respect to Eddie Hall but i prefer the RAW way
Deadlift is by far the lift where the suit makes the least difference. At this point its more to protect from tears and injury than anything else, its not even close the difference something like a bench suit makes. Again, using straps with double overhand is to help prevent bicep tears.
Then you have no clue, and you need to stop pulling this RAW crap like it means anything. A suit does not add 40kg to a lift either.
It's still done with straps not completely raw. Still big respect to Jerry.
What's the difference between standard bar and elephant bar?
Whip, stability, stiffness. With this bar when you start to pull weight is not completely off straight away due to its length.
💪💪💪
I NEEED THE SONG NAME !!!!!!!
Youunes Abbassenne darude sandstorm
thats not the song...
Darude Sandstorm
FUCK U
Eddie could pull 500kg on this bar, if he want ;)
Eddie still has the record with 500kg ;) noone cares about a elephant bar deadlift record, jerry is a great deadlifter but he will never pull 500kg there is only one king of deadlift and that's Eddie ;)
I don't know if Eddie will try it because he damn near died when he did 500kg, that mustve scared the he'll out of him. Let's face it, Eddie basically reached the human body max.
Eddie hall joined the chat
Jerry is a monster no doubt but how is this the heaviest DL ever if Eddie Hall pulled 1102 at the World Deadlift Championships?
different bar
666 likes 6 dislike.... what a hell...
But that's 465kg, not eddie hall who did 500kg
I shit my pants watching this.
Can anyone tell me why dont ppl in general use overhand/underhand grip?
Overhand with straps will help prevent bicep tears. With one hand over and one under its much more likely you will tear a bicep on the under hand arm. I don't think I have ever seen anyone pull deadlift with double underhand... That would be very strange.
A New Mountain in Google Maps!
Kinda upset that Eddie got beaten
Louis The Creator he didnt this is less
wait wtf??? are you saying Jerry broke the record if the normal bar deadlift while using the elephant bar??
Reporting Guy hdz I don't think it matters what bar it is, they are both deadlifts
its the record on elephant bar
jeez thank god I was like wtf.
468 kgs wow
your numbers are wrong 1031 lb is not more then 1105lb eddie deadlifted 😐
fatbarry barry ok moron that was equipped not raw and it was 1102 hall only did 1026 in this special lift not every deadlift is the same num nuts
this wasn't RAW either. Fuck people need to stop using that until it gets some defined meaning.
@@MrChaosTheory09 so what is raw then?
is this just the record for the arnold expo? in that case it isnt really a record is it? Eddie is still way ahead?
Gmo I think it's the record lift with the elephant bar. the world records go into little details and stuff
ah okay but dont imagine for these guys that sort of stuff would matter so much
Gmo this is without a deadlifting suit, Eddie used a suite when pulling 500
MrPikkabo....it was a different bar so the suit is not part of the equation. Two very different comps aswell. Hall pulled 465kg the year before on this bar you really think he couldn't put on a few more kilo?
What? How is the suit not in the equation? There is a reason why suited lifters compete in a different class from raw lifters.
Edit: Also, Hall has dropped down like 30KG bodyweight. No chance in hell he's as strong as he was last year.
What about Eddie’s 500kg the year before this isn’t the heaviest ever
Where's Eddie Hall??!!
Watching it on UA-cam
He didn't apply, focusing his efforts on training for worlds strongest man.
Bone Chilling
I thought the record was 500 kg (1100 lbs)
500kg is on a standard bar. This bar is super long and whippy... Its kind of its own thing.
Didn’t Brian beat him?
In the overall comp or just the deadlift?
And Eddie's 500kg?
Very different type of bar.
And with suit.
He did that with no shoes :O
and? most people dead with no shoes.
This doesn't make sense to me. how can this be the heaviest deadlift when Eddie Hall pulled 500kg which in lbs is 1102.3
Unless of course this is a record specific to this bar in particular. In that case I'd understand
Yeah specific to the Elephant bar which I believe competition wise only comes out for this event.
Yeah, lots of different lifts, benni did 500k on tyre deadlift a few years ago but that skips the hardest part of the lift.
It's sad, Bryan has pulled more than that in training.. I wonder why he didn't try for it
In training you are calm as a baby, in competition you have to deal with nerves. Plus I'm willing to bet they get extra money for breaking records, so no need to pull your best and then never see that extra money again.
brian shaw did1085
caged lion he did? where did you see that?
@@ipsojure2137 he saw it in his dreams
this isnt a record... hall pulled 1050 at a comp.. giants lve
it is on that bar, Hall was on a different bar.
That's what a true "WORLD" record should be.

very well put Sahil, hope everyone reads this after the vid...
Jerry does not get attention he deserves.
m
I can do that too, in space :)
i thought eddie hall got 1102 lbs?
different bar.
Isnt Elephant Bar Deadlift easier than normal bar ?
But still very impressive Deadlift!
TecSationce no
why not ?
the bar is longer, so it can bend easier, so they can lift the whole weight at a higher point.
ps.
sry for my bad english, i am from germany
well isnt the tire deadlift whipy too ?
Brian pulled there 1140lb 520kg
whats the name of the song?please
