    Honestly it was pretty smooth too. An uninjured, well prepped Pritchett is an animal. It'll be crazy to see what his son can do in ~10 years if he sticks with it.

    What makes this even more impressive is that he did it the day after getting his CNS pounded by the Bale Tote and the Frame carry. When Eddie did his record breaking deadlifts, he had the advantage of being rested up and recovered.

    eddi can routinely pull 1050+, this will be beaten whenever he next decides to perform in this competition, he only stopped at 1021 last year because brian matched em and they just split it, like him and brian normally do in competitions, but expect him to beat this by a decent margin next time he competes in this competition. Jerry is strong, but not Eddi strong.

    • @dango9786

      "Eddie Hall doesn't train for 1 rep max" - lol. yes he's training fitness a lot for WSM but it's dumb to say he doesn't train for 1rm. he's said he's going for the bench WR soon too

    • @dango9786
      @dango9786 7 років тому +3

      Obviously he would choose WSM title, it's his no1 goal, but Eddie is strong enough to pick up deadlift and bench world records on the way

    • @jamescurrie01

      also, this bar bent way more than eddies lift, and the plates covered more length on the ground,. meaning he was able to straighten up a bit before the load all went onto his back. details like this make a big difference in weight lifted. Not to take anything away from an amazing, amazing lift.

    • @marble25

    Honestly is more impressive a DL like this (RAW) than the heavier done by Eddie Hall with the suit. Obviously max respect to Eddie Hall but i prefer the RAW way

    • @Outland9000
      @Outland9000 7 років тому +1

      Deadlift is by far the lift where the suit makes the least difference. At this point its more to protect from tears and injury than anything else, its not even close the difference something like a bench suit makes. Again, using straps with double overhand is to help prevent bicep tears.

    • @MrChaosTheory09
      @MrChaosTheory09 6 років тому +1

      Then you have no clue, and you need to stop pulling this RAW crap like it means anything. A suit does not add 40kg to a lift either.

    • @adamborivoj3048
      @adamborivoj3048 4 роки тому

    What's the difference between standard bar and elephant bar?

    • @MrChaosTheory09
      @MrChaosTheory09 6 років тому

      Whip, stability, stiffness. With this bar when you start to pull weight is not completely off straight away due to its length.

    Can anyone tell me why dont ppl in general use overhand/underhand grip?

    • @Outland9000
      @Outland9000 7 років тому

      Overhand with straps will help prevent bicep tears. With one hand over and one under its much more likely you will tear a bicep on the under hand arm. I don't think I have ever seen anyone pull deadlift with double underhand... That would be very strange.

    • @MrChaosTheory09
      @MrChaosTheory09 6 років тому +1

      MrPikkabo....it was a different bar so the suit is not part of the equation. Two very different comps aswell. Hall pulled 465kg the year before on this bar you really think he couldn't put on a few more kilo?

    • @MrPikkabo
      @MrPikkabo 6 років тому

      What? How is the suit not in the equation? There is a reason why suited lifters compete in a different class from raw lifters.
      Edit: Also, Hall has dropped down like 30KG bodyweight. No chance in hell he's as strong as he was last year.

    Elephant bar or Kangaroo bar, it doesn't matter. We all know who can lift the most, and has done so. These "records" are silly with their segmentations. Currently there is only one human being on Earth that has the biggest pull... rules, regulations or bars otherwise, and that's Eddie at 500kg. That's what a true "WORLD" record should be.
    Having said that, this was a great pull from Jerry. It's just not the biggest number the World.
