It is a lovely twist. Even in the last episode when Patrick thanked Ronnie for her help getting flowers for the wedding - she cut him off saying 'I'm doing it for David.'
I LOVED how her and Moira played off each other. Moira grew on her. ANYTIME some kind of foolishness happened, they would give each other a look sometimes as if to say, "Girl, I hear you". LOVED their chemistry when they were on screen together!!!

They missed my favorite line! “Ronnie has a rec center named after her!” “It’s an outdoor tennis court and last year the net was stolen...” Her deadpan delivery is perfection 😂
I'm glad Ronnie was at Roland's roast because we all know how Johnny Rose wasn't going to do it justice.....and Ronnie luxuriating in her coat on that chair while talking to Alexis is everything at 2:05. I mean, who ever enjoyed a coat so much?
I will say that was the only thing that I didn’t like about the show- it’s lack of diversity. Everything else is amazing IMO, but I wish there was more BIPOC representation.

I don't think "lack of diversity" is a fair criticism of the show. A film that fails the Bechdel test isn't necessarily "bad women's representation." (Though, a lot are.) Movies with exclusively cis hetero romances aren't necessarily "bad lgbtq+ representation." (Though, a lot are.) A film with no explicitly Jewish or Muslim or Hindu or Wiccan or atheist characters isn't necessarily "bad religious representation." (Etc) Schitts Creek was produced in Canada, which has a black population of something like 4%. Clamoring for more black characters to satisfy an arbitrary target of diversity sounds like tokenism to me.
@@lizrock3998 I agree. As a MOC myself...much as I liked Patrick's and David's romance, I'm preeeeeetty sure they could've casted a MOC in the role of Patrick. Or even cast a WOC for Stevie's role. Heck, even Bob/Gwen or even Twyla! There are SO many veteran actors of color that would've been awesome in these roles!

I teared up when Moira announced she was leaving and Ronni was one of the first ones to start to cry, it showed how much she genuinely cared for her
