I would suspect many wouldn't really care. To say to someone violence is wrong who has experienced a lot of violence, it would be a feeling of violence is only wrong when they commit it not when it is committed against them. When someone's experience of life is not at all up to the standards of those who live encased in cotton wool and still expecting them to live by the same moral code is delusional. They would have zero capacity to even understand that person's experience of life.
Instead of always moralising it might be better to question why their standard of life is not up to at least a somewhat acceptable level. As well as extensive trauma therapy and access to other forms of security that the cotton wool dwelling moralisers take for granted.
