If you’re going from west just do your homework. Salaries are not as good as NA and they now know the post tax income you get so they mention that Saudi has 0% income tax. I got a job in Riyadh, asked to talk to about salary and they stop responding and then responded with an abrupt email saying they have pulled the offer. Society, job culture and work environment is far far behind what you may have experienced in NA and the Kingdom is very unpredictable. The law is whatever your superior says on the given day. (Multiple living there have attested to this) So in short, unless you have a very enticing package I would think twice if your moving from NA.
Could you provide information on job opportunities in Singapore for Canadian citizens? This would be helpful not just for Desis but also for white Canadians, as not everyone aspires to move to the Middle East.
