A good point brought up here: Many of the failures we're witnessing come down to coaching. Either the coaches aren't getting through to the players, the players aren't listening to the coaches or the skills aren't being taught. Any way you cut it this is bad, seventeen games into a staff's tenure. We have already seen two historic defeats this season in terms of margin of victory and we still have five Top 25 teams on the schedule! I hate to say it but the fans and the boosters may force the admin to make a change sooner than later.

Money, blah blah blah” these are all tired, sad excuses. “Maybe I’m speaking too loosely here” No dude the coach needs fired. You don’t have to glaze Purdue brass 24/7 because they might take your media privileges away.
They certainly didn’t seem very critical. The program is going way backwards. They need to be more alarmed. Sound like complacent folks who will never get this fixed
I think it's clear Walters is in over his head as a HC, but the coach can only do so much if the school makes it clear they're not investing in football. If you actually look at the transfer portal inflow/outflow Purdue lost 2 of their top 3 players from a 4-8 team last year and added basically no one. Indiana meanwhile added an all star cast. Is what it is.
Neubert is speaking facts about losing key players and Brohm leaving and dismantling the program. This portal has caused real problems because it’s not regulated well!

Never hire a head coach that doesn’t have head coaching experience. Purdue is not a learn on the job school. It’s extremely tough to win at Purdue . In the history of Purdue football Purdue has only had success with head coaches who were offensive minded. Tiller and Brohm . Tiller and Brohm also had head coaching experience before Purdue
Coach Walters is known as a player’s coach. Is coach pushing his players hard enough in the off season? Tough times create strong men. Easy times make weak men. Maybe coach isn’t pushing players hard enough in the offseason.
Play a simple system and schemes that match the caliber of the players that you are ABLE to recruit. Unwatchable at the moment and will take a completely different coaching mindset.
Yeah, we're pissed. With season tickets and NIL I pay thousands into this program every year. Not what I expect to see on Saturdays.

Indiana now 6-0. Less than 1 year. Bowl eligible, and they don’t care about Bowl eligible. There’s much more to play for.

Walters came in brash, arrogant, confident. Not now. The job is too big for him. Blame Bobinski. He should step down as soon as he fires Walters.
His youth is surely showing. The walk off field interview with radio was very telling. Tim Newton was very charitable in his questioning.
