- You’ve been asking for a tour of the new enclosure, so here we are.
As you probably know, if you’ve been following us for a while, we live in an apartment and we don’t have that much space.
We don’t have a garden or even a balcony so I’m always trying to find ways to improve Martin’s life and to provide more space.
So a few days ago, I was looking at my bedroom, and actually considering reducing the size of my bed to fit a bigger enclosure, and I suddenly had an epiphany!!
If we don’t have enough space for a bigger enclosure, why don’t we share the space?
RIGHT? So this is the story how I did it!

I absolutely love this! Martin is one lucky bunny! I got a little worried when I saw “under the bed” but was really surprised when I saw how much space he actually got. Great job!

It's great ! A very smart solution for small appartment ! My concern is about the noise that the bunny could do ...? I can be annoying during the night.
Hi! Martin is actually very quiet during night time so that's not an issue for me. But I understand there are some buns that take their "bunstruction" very serious during the night. 😂
I would love to do this but I move around and sleep walk so I would scare the crap out of mine. His name is Houdini btw cuz he escapes his enclosure all the time. I used to have another one that was a girl but she sadly passed away last week. Rip Lorax❤️ I miss you

Also remember your mattress will need airing out as it will get damp underneath because of plastic, love the whole set up
hello! ur enclosure is very functional and pretty! but, the litter box is a little small! i recommend a bigger litter box and make it a little higher in height to prevent spillage! also, i recommend a lot more hay! hay is 80% of a rabbits diet! and maybe a little bit more litter, but u always want to have more hay! ty for listening!
I had this idea recently since I’m moving into my first apartment and wanted to save space but give my bun a large cage like she has now, this is almost exactly what I was thinking! I bought a platform bed on amazon and some cnc grids that will fit, I’m hoping she loves it!
How much did this cost?

This is dangerous... if the bed breaks the bunny will die worse if it’s under it
The bed won't break its steel on top it's not just on wood she placed a tall medal bed frame inside of it that's why there's poles and then built the wool around it

My bunnies currently have their own room in our house but I want to give my boyfriend a man cave of sorts so we are moving the bunnies to my office. I am already struggling with the design and feeling like it isn't enough space. 😩

What did you use to make your bed legs longer? Also did you just use your normal bed frame and put the extra legs on to make it taller? Or did you make your own bed frame also? 🥺💜 it looks amazing

Hey I just found this channel and I built something similar back in 2019. However yours seems like a full sized bed were as mine is a twin. Lehevah has a two floor hutch with access to the bottom half of the window we share. I'm currently updating my design so I have a enclosed loft area to do my homework in. But I was so excited to see that I wasn't just some weirdo who sleeps above my bunny.

My rabbits poop too much to go in my room but I built a really big space outside for them. Soon be done.
Now he just needs a friend, rabbits are extremely sociable animals, I have 12 rabbits and even living with humans they need eachother, I’d suggest a female and get Martin desexed 😊
i LOVE this i just think yous hould add more hay to the litter box, but besides that I LOVE THIS IDEA
I mean having another rabbit too keep him company would likely improve is life no end.
Cool idea but if the rabbit gets fur/ear mites and you don't catch it right away......they will be under you while you sleep and possibly bite you. Right?

Yes, I believe a full size bed will be roomy enough. And 27 inches is also high enough, in my opinion.

So its a stable metal tall bed frame with the walls just surrounding it! Smart! I dont have a good enclosure for my rabbit and i might look into doing this!

Really nice, but how do you achieve that your rabbit does not destroy all the decorations and the bed?, especially because it is wooden. I love rabbits but the ones I had were so prone to ruminate absolutely everything, they were very naughty rabbits
