Honestly, despite the "neighbours voting for each other" thing, usually the best song wins if not too much politics blends into the whole event. Sweden just tends to sent the best musicians.
I think it has to do with people having similar music taste with their neighbours, so they vite for that, and the fact they are neighbour also helps a bit, but mostly people having common music tastes.
There is a reason why the international press-corps applauded after the final, ESC that year was as good as a Hollywood production. Sweden knows how make ESC spectacular.
I read on mans' insta that they were supposed to lipsync it on the night, but right before the performance the audio file got corrupted, so this was the first time they had done the language rap live while dancing. impeccable performers.

I know everyone loves Love, Love, Peace, Peace, but I honestly think this is the superior interval act. It's just so much fun and well made. And the stage graphics look unreal! It's so crisp that it looks fake, incredible
