I know a number of Catholic priests who are against liberation theology for some reason? I am also struck by the fact that most Catholic priests have kept silent about what is happening in the Middle East and throughout the world! I find this perplexing? Every chance I get, I try to open a dialogue with people about Gaza. I continue to be in AWE by all the magnificent people on these panels. With reference to what Omar said about Christ knocking on the door inviting us to go out into the world, here is a quotation from St Teresa of Avila that was on my church leaflet on Sunday: Christ has no body now on earth but yours, no hands, no feet but yours. Yours are the eyes with which Christ looks out His compassion to the world. Yours are the feet with which He is to go about doing good. Yours are the hands with which He is to bless us now. Amen!
