I 100% agree, definitely think this is what they’re gonna end up doing for the era. Start a slow drip with the new rarity for newer/less popular mons, and then gradually throw it onto more popular Pokémon to get the hype train going
I was talking to my friends and I feel like what we need is the "Gold Star" level rarity that you could go 2-3 boxes without pulling one to combat everything being notoriously easy to pull in SV
Would that not mean that all these 'Super hyper' cards are all terastallized pokemon tho, they just don't look as cool as the vanilla forms. I just dont see where they go with the actual artwork at the moment, it's peak, so they need to do something with the designs of the cards or some sort of trick to the way they are printed. It's tricky, but will be interesting to see what they do with it.
I think a similar idea to Crystal pokemon would work. Giving all “Stellar” teras the normal typing with some crazy arts and maybe a small difference to set them aside from normal SAR’s/SIR’s
I play vgc (top 5k atm) and I LOVE Tera transformation so much. It’s the best meta for vgc we’ve ever had. But the crowns are ugly. I hope gen 10 keeps the gimmick but changes the look. Yes I know that’s incredibly unlikely.
Just my 2 cents for the TCG, but I’d love if they did a form of tag team cards between the paradox pokemon and megas. It’ll NEVER happen, but dang, imagine a Roaring Moon and Mega Salamence card. Or a Iron Thorns and Mega Tyranitar, my personal favorite would be something like a Flutter Mane Mega Banette for a spooky look. Would be sweet, but I’ll keep dreaming 😂
