I love this show. And I love how practical the clothes are. Pardon me, perhaps it's the recent Hallowwen but I see death. All black. And then the all white...Donna Karan's husband's funeral -- all white. And the white straps & outlines on black make me think of skeletons. Occasionally other colors, rarely. Also I don't get the somber faces? Why not project that your clothes make people happy? Knowing that models are told to look somber for all lines, and the how interesting and idea provoking the clothes are, the collection is fantastic.
I understand that this is a very contemporary collection, but whatever lightness, and modernity it possessed was weighed down by the chunky jewelery, massive footwear, and hunks of leather the models all toted. The beannies, and eye makeup topped off a dull palette of shapeless, boxy cuts that had zero personality. I get muted colors, but yawn. The only thing remotely interesting was the kitty cat face print.

The only difference between the men’s and women’s clothing is the shoes. Very over styled and way too much jewelry. Did you notice that virtually nothing is flattering, rather garments “applied “ to bodies that are not really wearing them much less inclusively. Very odd and disconcerting.
Sander's designs are for very young, very thin women with boyish figures. Definitely not for the great number of women. The men's designs are ridiculous!
