This story arc was top tier, showing that there are jedi who treat clones as nothing more than killing machines who can be replaced in a second. The jedi master tricking the clone troopers into killing each other and that damn scene of them arriving to the war zone was legendary.
@Timelordbeast14 yeah, I read somewhere that it was kinda inspired by ww1 and ww2, along with some Vietnam War vibes, I dont fully remember but I remember hearing it like that
This arc was actually very interesting as the clones were totally unaware of the technology of the people of umbara and it's probably the first time most were fightning people instead of droids in a major war/campaign, and at one point themselves. It's basically the Vietnam of the GAR
GAR? Where did u hear of that acronym? Is it used by entire Star Wars fandom or only from place I personally know it from and maybe u discovered it from same place aswel.

I think this was not only just a tribute towards the clone's individuality and treatment by some Jedi, but also a foreshadowing of order 66 and how the clones would see the jedi after their chips kicked in. Another side comment... Rex really proved himself to be more of an absolute badass in this arc. He took their divisions and managed to CAPTURE a Jedi general with the help of all of his men. Good leader.
I always thought the “For the Clone Army!” sound clip was an over-popularized inaccurate fan-made thing since i thought it wouldn’t be “Clone Army”, but instead to be the Republic, but it makes more sense now that it’s from Umbara.
Best arc in the whole entire fucking show. This is why I love the clone wars they know how to be dark it’s not just any kids show. This show also Justice for fives.
Umbara was a nightmare for multiple reasons, one of the main ones being the fact that the Umbarans had always been extremely isolationist and kept themselves purposefully seperate from the rest of the galaxy. This isolation resulted in the Umbarans making developing their technology along a different path than that of the Republic, as they never used Republic technology as a base for their own like so many other worlds, and as such had strange and never before seen war machines that functioned almost entirely differently from everything the clones had ever encountered.
I feel like season 7 was dark It was towards the end of the clone wars, the clones point of views, attitudes were changing. the jedi were catching on the plot
Star Wars is the best because it includes politics, action, love, friendship, comradery, diplomacy, plot, twists, betrayal, rise, fall, strategy, and emotion.
