I think the reason Gandalf was so strict with Pippin in Moria and beyond was that both he and Merry reminded him of Fili and Kili and he didn't want history repeating itself with another death, so he may have been a bit hard on them at times, but he got them through the Quest.
The classic “What could possibly happen?” Ends up getting pushed down a cliff stabbed by Nazgûl nearly dies several times and nearly burns to death in the fires of mt. Doom. I blame Celebrimbor. Who does everyone else blame.

Pets (Just film your or Grass's pets, and as they interact with you or just sit in the window... just guess what they may be thinking or saying. "OH, my HERO is home! Okay, I'm done. I'm gonna' go check out my other hero... okay, I get a pat on the head, but UA-cam gets more attention than I do... rough.") 2. Electronics (If your electronic devices were alive, what would they say? "Here is Izzy again... I've been open for TWO HOURS and am DYING... Izzy... Izzy... put in my charger, put in my charger, I am BEGGING you to put in my charger! Don't make me notify you... okay, you asked for it... WHAT? Don't walk away!!!")
Funny to me as someone from the West of England that Merry in Fellowship has a consistent and noticeable Midlands/West Country accent, but only has it sometimes in the subsequent films. Suppose Dom must have tired of doing it, or forgot to maintain it in every scene.
