I was Biswa’s class mate back when was studying 11th and 12th standard in Vizag. He was a very funny guy and he used imitate a lot of professors. He was very good in Physics. We used to ask him a lot of doubts. I am sad that he dint speak about any of those memories. Ask him about Sastry sir if you get a chance.

they're talking about Ramaiah coaching. They have a SEPARATE entrance exam and the funniest part is there are coaching to crack Ramaiah coaching entrance. Thats like coacheption.

It's similar to super 30. Picking 30 odd students from over 30000 almost guarantees that you've got the cream students who are already well prepared to crack IIT JEE

Hence, I believe the entrance exam for Super 30 makes sense, and comparing it to the entrance exam for a coaching center which takes lakhs is not fair.

Hey, I know I'm late to the party. But I was a student of Sharma's coaching centre, got into Ramaiah, and then said nope, this IIT business ain't for me. Took BPC/BiPC instead, and I'm now a doctor. All on my own terms.
I just HATED that herd mentality there. But I miss maths and physics now. I used to love physics. :(

Arpan, Dont give up , stick it out. There are equally good options in art field. Though I sadly had to do my 12th from science, I eventually did law from NLU and I am now a lawyer and v grateful to be away from all the integration and vectors and shit. Best of luck to you.

There's this stigma associated with Arts in our country. An unfounded prejudice. Taking Arts is seen as something you would do when you aren't smart enough for Science. And that's absolutely fuck all. We, the art oriented, have gifted the world symphonies and paintings and novels that touch souls centuries after their maker dies.
Well medicine, engineering and law are all noble pursuits necessary to sustain life.
But Poetry, Romance, Passion, Art and Beauty are what we stay alive for

I'm from Odisha and from ICSE, but I know how much difficulty the Odia medium students suffer when they see the English 11 and 12th courses. I'm so proud of Biswa here who has made it this far with so much stuggle. You guys don't really see it. it's so much visible to us.
