really would love to see more content by you, great to see you doing things for dicetower. your content is great. These are all great things you bring up for dexterity.
Thanks, Jason! I'm trying to film as often as I can, but MAN is it time-consuming! Especially since I TRY to do more than just sitting in front of a wall and talking for 10 minutes or whatever! I'm especially thankful to Tom @ The Dice Tower for inviting me to make videos for the channel. It's been an awesome year for my board-gaming hobby! More is coming, soon! Cheers!
Thanks for the awesome review! You mentioned a 5th faction in the review, but i don't see anything about that on their site. How do you get the 5th faction?
Oooo that's a good question. It's been a while since I filmed this, but I believe I was referring to the neutral pieces that are in one of the "Box o Flicks," if I recall.
"It's your turn" "Oh... sorry, I was... buying this" If that isn't a recommendation, nothing is! Also I think my favourite thing about the game is that the base game factions sound like the villains of their respective sci-fi movie. In my imagination, the "Imperium" is the evil overlord faction who you expect to see fighting against a heroic Rebellion or Resistance faction. But the "Uprising" sounds more like the terrorist organisation killing civilians while working against the utopian Federation instead. Not only am I a sucker for sci-fi games, and space games, but also for games where I get to be the bad guys! It hits too many high notes for me not to be excited! And finally... A note on how acrylic behaves when flicking: I'm considering a bevel grind on the undersides of my ships when I get my copy. Won't make much difference on glass or poliched/varnished surfaces, but should fix the "sharp edges catch on fibres" problem with carpet or cloth. Or a playmat, which is a stretch goal for the current gamefound campaign. And yes, the two previous expansions are addons for their campaign! (I backed before I finished watching this video)
This looks very good, though probably out of my price range and game length range at now than 2 players. I will certainly pay attention to the Kickstarter, though. Have you ever played Ascending Empires? It's been quite a while since I played it, but it's a good 4x space flicking game.
A surprisingly high-quality video for such a small channel!
Thanks for the video. Great, honest review!

@@TabletopToolbox I ended up finding all the rulebook pdfs online. Apparently the Box of Flicks 2 added a pirate faction.
Thanks for the reply!
@@scottrose2689 I mean, do I get half credit?? 🤣 Cheers!
