Not sure if anyone has mentioned this but Kaya is misunderstanding Morre's Law a bit. What it states is the number of transistors will double every 18-24 months, not computational power. While this used to result in massive upgrades to computational power it recently seems less effective as we already have billions in our devices, but nevertheless Morre's Law Holds to this day. It's a common mix up.

So the other day while listening to your podcast I got into a car accident. I was driving all day for work and it started to get snowy. I had about a 40 minute drive home so I put on the offical podcast. I was driving over a bridge on a highway when I spun out, hitting both guard rails before going off the incline by the bridge. Anyway I luckly survived, and I was just thinking, if I died that day, I would of been listening to you boys, and at least I would of died happy. Love you guys.

I believe the "We live in a society" meme comes from Seinfeld, a very popular sitcom from the 90's, and "We live in a society" was kind of the catchprase of George Constanza (one of the main charachters), and he would say it whenever he was upset because people treated him different form others.

I really enjoy that the four of them tend to have completely different viewpoints and get in pretty loud arguments, but after 149 episodes they are STILL together making this content. It's great that they can look past their opinions and still come together daily. That's what a podcast should be about, that's where the discussion really gets heated up. Not like in the H3 podcast where they filter out the people they don't like or make really awful comments about them like on that Dentist podcast.

Quantum Computers don't have much commerical value. It's not much that the average person is going to use them or need them. The need for quantum computers is for running very large simulations. And the issue with the moore's law is that if the transistors get smaller you have to deal with quantum tunneling, which the quantum computers try to take advantage of

Actually the thing with Moore’s law is that in addition to the doubling of complexity, costs double as well. After a certain point additional complexity isn’t profitable
Andrew was wrong, it's not to do with "speeding up electrons". Nicholas Allingham really you think he attempted to kill himself because of the detectives? That would not make sense because the next scene he’s laying on the bed and the phone rings and he seems to not be worried about detectives. If was to try to kill himself in that scene it would probably be because of the scene with Thomas Wayne at Wayne Hall.
What Jackson said about board games was perfect though. I don't have time. Alot of board games take more time to play and set up than adults have. I can't remember the last time I finished a board game. Almost always it gets brought up while drinking and you either lose interest while setting up or get distracted after 45 minutes because no one's paying that much attention anymore. Obviously there are outliers but alot of mainstream board games are stuck in this keep kids busy all day mentality while marketing to adults with limited time.

The girlfriend episode of the movie was a figment of Joker's imagination. They made that blatantly obvious. The woman was real, but he made up the relationship in his head. I know he might have been referencing the original joker, but this movie did kind of aim at his loneliness in this aspect, not that it's accurately labelled as incel
