I failed to add that Elderseal is very good against AT Velkhana when it comes to "chilling" her out. I mean powering her down so she hits less hard ^_^

i feel like elderseal should be mentioned. a source that I've read states that velkhana puts up an aura that doubles the damage it deals, and cuts half of the damage it takes, and elder seal is the only thing that tears it down.
I found the easiest weapon to beat this one is Insect Glaive. You can jump over basically anything she can throw at you.

Beat her solo after just throwing bodies at her nonstop for 4 days, God I was so happy. I hate this monster so much, definitelt the hardest fight for me personally

With guard up you can block all of her attacks. Time to grind elder melder again to get that kjarr dragon

Amazing vid as always, D-blade! Just a heads up that you don't need to gem in Health Boost if you're wearing 4-piece Fatalis, as the set bonus grants you 200 health + stamina even if you cart. As long as you don't switch out to a different armour set entirely (less than 4 pieces of Fatalis armour) you'll keep the skill the whole quest.
I thought it only activated before your first cart, after that you don’t have it no more
@@Moistiest110 Nah, I thought the same at first, but the skill still remains after any amount of carts as long as you still have at least 4 pieces equipped. It's truly a kick-ass skill. Hope this helps dude :)
who thinks mounths before we use a dragon weapon(2 stars vs him) vs velkana man the fatalis weapon atk is crazy

Im pretty late but, You have to be MR 99 and guiding lands regions level 4/3/2 Im not sure which you need level 4 cus i got the ruiner nergigante quest when i got level 3 forest, level 3 waste, level 2 Coral Highland, Level 2 Rotten vale, level 2 elder recess, level 3 tundra region, slay ruiner nergigante, and youll be MR 100

There’s an event quest that just requires you to be MR 100 or higher.

Her sweep breath always one shot me for some reason
It one shots us all lol. It's one of her 2 or 3 massive hitters.
It seems she does more damage against ranged weapons as I take a lot more ice damage as a bow. However, if youa re melee I found the damage she deals very manageable around 40 ice resist and my bow build has 60 so I don't get rekt.
@@AutomaticOps Um. Yeah, well like Fatalis. She's deadliest at range, and all her attacks excell at that since she has multiple AoEs with great range. When in face with her, she is limited to more melee and short burst attacks that have an easy tell and pattern. Plus, dodging away from her attacks are the worst idea, since dodging into them grants an opening while giving breathing room
You can roll through it at the last second
@@Oomze Yeah, evade window and extender are big boons to fighting her. Also, stating with in midrange at an angle of her face can let you get a free opening while she blasts her beam

You slotted HB3 even though you're wearing 4 piece fatalis. Huge waste of slots. Also 1 point of resuscitate is better here than 3 points of blight res because it completely negates the ice blight effect on stamina and also gives more s. All those extra slots should go to stamina surge for a bow build. Have zero stamina surge like this is so troll and loses so much dps.
