Hi. Great video. What did you have for referencing how much to torque the head bolts. I’ve been searching everywhere for a service/repairmen manual but haven’t found one yet. 1999 Sea-Doo challenger 1800.

Thanks for upload. Recently purchased a 1999 Challenger 1800 that was told it ran last year and just needed 2 new batteries and new starters. Well once I got digging into it I am seeing a lot more wrong. Both rear electrical boxs were full of water. There was 3 blown fuses on the MECU. No beeps when I connect the dess key so I am really hoping once I freshen up the electrical boxs and run new power and ground wires it will start. I am seeing the MECU's are not easy to come by. Do you have a video of your current set up that your friend heloed with?

Any pics you have pertaining to the new ecu units your using would be a big help if I have to go that way.
Currently have cylinders soaking in atf. Took the plugs out and tops of pistons look pretty rusty and pto will not spin. I have 2 new starters I need to install so once I swap them out I think I am going to pop the tops off the cylinders and get a better view. Crossing fingers the starters is what is locking engine up but thats best case as this will fix two major issues.

A drill and meteric bits would make things a lot quicker.....

I have the same boat..and having trouble getting my throttles to line up equally when running. Can you point out where to adjust the throttle cables so both stay pretty equal with each other. Right now both engines idle at 3000 out of water and about 1500 in water but when cruising my port engine throttle sits forward more then the starboard while keeping rpms equal. Any tips or advice on how?

There is some cable adjustment where connects to carb and if it’s just slop in levers unscrew base of throttle levers and you can tighten that up unde there if I remember
