- Taylor Cornelius threw three touchdown passes and ran for two scores, the last with 5:44 remaining to help Oklahoma State beat No. 6 Texas 38-35.
Cornelius completed 23 of 34 passes for 321 yards, and his scoring run on third-and-10 gave Oklahoma State (5-3, 2-3 Big 12) a 38-28 lead after its 31-14 halftime advantage had been whittled down to just three points.
Tylan Wallace had 10 receptions for 222 yards and two touchdowns. The Cowboys snapped a two-game losing streak.
For Texas (6-2, 4-1), Sam Ehlinger returned from a shoulder injury suffered in the previous game. After struggling a bit in the first half, Ehlinger completed 17 of 27 passes for 175 yards and two touchdowns in the second half.
Tre Watson's 1-yard touchdown run with 1:46 remaining pulled Texas to 38-35, but Dillon Stoner recovered the ensuing onsides kick for Oklahoma State. The Cowboys were then able to run out the clock after Cornelius gained a first down on third-and-4 with an 8-yard rush.

I loved this game and video, the only complaint I have is Herbstreit ESPN homerism. It's all tied into the Longhorn Network. They wanted Texas to win so bad that their blatant homerism comments became annoying to say the least. These guys work for ESPN who has funded the Longhorn Network with millions and millions of dollars. That's who these guys are getting their money from, so they are and were extremely biased in their commentary for this game. I guess if I was getting paid millions of dollars, I would be biased too. The first series, the refs were extremely biased...especially with that pass interference call. Please don't tell me you don't know what's going on in college football.

Three years later and look what espn and big money is doing to college football. Texas under achieves every year while okla state has built something out of nothing, but because more eyeballs that can be advertised to watch texas they continually get over valued and propped up. Making money for advertisers means more than winning and culture and people accept it because they feel helpless to stop it, to figure out how to fight for our own values rather than more money for the big money men
The OSU logo that is on the helmets for this game is one of my tattoos. I just love the old school look.

Bob, please read my reply above. I went to school at the University of Oklahoma when you took over for John Blake. I remember the Nebraska game coming out party, I knew that it would be a special season so I went over to the "athletic office" and I asked if I could bring a football over there to be signed. I looked into your office and you were on the phone. Your office was as big as warehouse. The lady gave me a brochure that had signed footballs in it. I bought one and gave it to my Dad. There was supposedly only 50 of them signed during the National Championship Season with Josh Heupal. I have had several relatives who have played for OU in the past. One of them was a team captain who had to tell Joe Don Looney he was going to be suspended during bowl play.

I can understand why Hager was offered a scholarship at Texas, given who his dad is. But I will never understand how that guy was a starter for Texas. There are more talented blocking dummies.
