I understand the targeting rule and why it was implemented but dang allow some hard knocks it’s part of football ur gonna get ur clock rocked get up and play the next play. And yes I understand u can get hard knocks below the head but leading with the crown shouldn’t count as targeting bc I along with many others were trained to lead with the screws on my helmet
Violent hits do not make a better game and it takes more skill level to making big clean tackles . You can knock the stuffing out of a player without causing CTE. Helmet to helmet causes CTE and or paralysis if the impact breaks cervical discs. The way the old rule was set on spearing you could hurt a athlete and get no penalty at all. We want football not MMA Fights in a football uniform
