I like how these guys go offroading they don't beat the living shit out of their rigs they do things slow and steady and i haven't seen them break a vehicle once
Jake Martin I really like how they do it as well. seems like most of the guys and gals here in the states just take every obstacle balls to the wall and high five when they snap an axel
Every JKU that you see on 37s is or probably was $40k-$50k at some point though. And it really doesn't matter how much it costs because we all don't make the same amount and to some people, $60k isn't all that much. I think people here just focus on looking cool instead of actual performance increases and go for crazy lifts and bumpers and aesthetics before lockers and gears.
Such a great video, Good quality,Good rigs, good angle shots, not too much commentary, lots of mud, good sounding engines...a good good video this is Ronny, we hope to see more of such if not better quality
Ronny and the team, this are great awesome videos. I have bn watching and catching up on entirely most of the episodes up to date. Great off road tips. Wish we had the 79 dual series cruisers in the US and year arnd tag along trips. Great job.
wow the mudsliding must have been be hair-rising. i have had one experience with mud sliding and on my left was hill bottom. i would have rolled over if i lost traction, but this one is much faster slide so i really understand what you guys felt - amazing.
Looks like it was bloody wet! Lead vehicle life eh? Everyone else gets to learn from your mistakes! Those kids full of piss would have really annoyed me haha. Anyway, awesome video mate!
Thanks mate, yeah the poor bloke that was stuck was the only sober person there... All our gear got wet more than a few times so jackets and jumpers were sacrificed!
Amazing video! The production is very professional and has a cool mix mix of handheld and drone filming. Loved to see that both 80s did so well. In my opinion the best LC ever built. (Also the best looking landcruiser tied with the 40 series). We really appreciate these videos. Ronny Dahl - Do you have norwegian ancestors?
Hello Ronny. So how's Wayne going with his alternator at the moment? On your last trip, when you did the Holland track, did Wayne end up getting some spares near Coolgardie, as to see if spares were available there? Or did he nurse it home by swapping the battery with the other 79 series cruiser? Just curious Ron, as to see what nearby places there would be which do sell or have access to 4WD spares, such alternators, starter motors etc. Cheers Matt.
I'm enjoying your adventures! If you have a chance, would you consider doing a vid on all the radio gear you use... the antenna mounts, the type of radios you and your friends use... and so on. Many thanks from Canada!
Ronny, what do you reckon about tyre defectors? I’ve used a couple of different ones and I’ve gone back to just pushing in the valve with the key. I found those deflators seem the wear of the thread on the inside of the valve and wreck it after a while...
I also wish to know if that jeeps performance makes any of you guys tinker with the idea of "upgrading" ;). My bros unlimited with a lift and muddies is brutally unstoppable.
Great video! Found your channel a few weeks ago and have watched almost all videos now :) Love watching your style evolve and they just keep getting better and more and more professional, keep it up! Also, what was wrong with Brians Jeep that made the awesome traction control stop working?
Yep that one will be coming sooner or later, he just keeps adding stuff to it so we keep delaying the filming of it! Expect that one around the 10th episode perhaps even before.
Ever think about adding some more suspension height out of these trucks? Seems a mix between not enough height and not aggressive enough tires are for sure hurting all of you.
Hi Cole Hatfield we are a bit restricted to what we are allowed to have in AUS. Anything over the top stands out and gets pulled over right away by the boys in blue.
Ronny... Mate thanks for sharing your videos I really enjoyed it.... Btw I notice the jeep it's so quite mate,,,, why? It's looks like a Electric 4bie....
+Damian Smith Be Careful they vary from 12K (for the same vehicle at the same place) depending on who you talk too at the dealership. Thats all I'm going to say...
Your going down on the very slippery situation. You are using breaks in which in that situation it's not good. You are lucky coz you are going down with a lot of plain area on your side. What if it's a cliff on one side, one mistake we will not see as again. For my experience on that type of situation. I use the transmission by engaging in reverse, but you will do it very slowly to avoid of damaging your transmission. In short you go down on freewheeling. Your clutch is the one controlling the dissent and direction. You need to go down very slowly. I use this with a track loaded. There's only one problem you're clutch disks would not last so long.
Only use it when we go on remote travels, it's more for emergency situations so during a remote trip I will just check the radio comms out now and then to make sure it's all working. The antenna whip can actually come off 90% of my travels but I'm too lazy to remove it.
Nice video mate. Maybe someone can help me. I have a stock 76 landcruiser. I dont know what upgrades to go with first. Im tempted to get a chip/exhaust put in first. Then maybe a lift? Any suggestions lads
ŽÈÜŠ~ I already have about 32" A/T tyres. Front manual lock hubs, lights, duel battery, commerical bull bar (cant mount winch i dont think). with that in mind i think ill probably go lift next what u reckon
***** with 32's and no towing I'd wait with the chip/exhaust and go for the lift, you can always get the chip/exhaust later down the track with your next set of tyres (perhaps 33's as they fit nicely from stock height). All comes down to what tracks you want to do or more like what 4WDing you want to do.
The hubs on the 70 series require re packing every 20,000km. So far they have not required any maintenance from being submerged in water. If you avoid parking in deep water there should be no problems if the seals are working correctly...
Great experience hey Ronny? It seems to me sometimes you guys take the hardest way to drive on when it would be easier to take the side track and avoid any mechanical problem. Is that for show only or are you guys vehicle sadists?? The Jeep is very quite. One can hear the tyre's noise louder than the engine's.Nevertheless Debz made me laugh sliding down the hill. Holly shit! she said..I would be a little more vocal out there.:-)). Good job Ronny!
Thanks mate, I took the hard line at the start due to poor placement of the camera man so I ended up in the sloppy stuff. BUT yes we sometimes (half the time) take the harder lines for fun and yes video. If we are in remote areas we take more easy lines. That said this particular didn't have a chicken track for most of the tracks. That last hill was scary to say the least but after the others saw me go down they still wanted to give it a go! That jeep Is very quite unless it's rpm is over 3000.
same 80 series, but deb is driving much better without having to be saved. If the tyre and lift was not so different, here we can really see how the same car would drive different due to the driver's skill. no offense to Ben.
Just makes me laugh all cars have all sorts of engine noise whether its their exhaust or just the diesel engine... Then theres the jeeep that goes through nice and slowly with zero engine noise what so ever 😂😂
+CB baller Very tidy unit to be sure, not to many up here in Derby, two of them had to be trucked out of the Munja track not long ago. Pretty much all 70 series up here, they're made for the conditions, i suppose.
Hearing Deb go down the mud slide was fantastic. Great video as always.
Another great video!! Deb’s voice after the 11:45 mark is gold!! I watched that sequence 4 or 5 times!! Greetings from the Great State of Texas!!
Master Wayne knows how to drive that truck. His touch with the throttle is exquisite.
LOL the 79 series ute looked more like a toboggan as it went down the mud slide. Thanks Ronny and friends for another great video.
Most in the US are not using $60,000 vehicles either
Every JKU that you see on 37s is or probably was $40k-$50k at some point though. And it really doesn't matter how much it costs because we all don't make the same amount and to some people, $60k isn't all that much. Love Brians Jeep! Great videos. Please keep up the great content.
Again a great video. Really enjoyed watching it. Kind regards from Munich, Germany.
The mud slide was awsome thats what gets ya goin boys
Such a great video, Good quality,Good rigs, good angle shots, not too much commentary, lots of mud, good sounding engines...a good good video this is Ronny, we hope to see more of such if not better quality
Thanks mate plenty more to come 👍
Awesome! Really great filming and narrating! Liked the water crossing especially :)
Keep on rolling!
Wouter Tom Mulder that water crossing was a lot of fun too, its been a while since we had some good rain fall which made it even more fun...
Awesome video once again Ronny! Cheers, That mud slide looked like a lot of fun!
Incredible video mate! Keep them coming 👍
It's amazing how smooth the drone footage is. Love it.
Harvey damn really is ace! We're so lucky to live here.
Good job guys, keep it coming! Greetings from Bulgaria! :)
Another awesome video! Thanks for sharing your adventure!
No worries Vin thanks for watching and commenting.
Good value, thanks.
Ronny and the team, this are great awesome videos. I have bn watching and catching up on entirely most of the episodes up to date. Great off road tips. Wish we had the 79 dual series cruisers in the US and year arnd tag along trips. Great job.
Cool make me want to visit Australia and go off-roading with you guys 😀

that mud slide was awesome! great video as always
Another quality vid Ronny, quote (Wouter Tom Mulder) Really great filming and narrating!
thanks sling60
wow the mudsliding must have been be hair-rising. i have had one experience with mud sliding and on my left was hill bottom. i would have rolled over if i lost traction, but this one is much faster slide so i really understand what you guys felt - amazing.
Super filming and editing yet again Ronny 👍
G'day Ronny... thoroughly enjoy your videos mate. inspired me to buy a 4x4 and get amongst it. keep up the good work!
I recognize some of those tracks. must have been a sick trip
Awesome video as usual! Greetings from Canada BC, wish we had Toyota diesels here they look sick!
Really enjoyed the video 👍
Way to go Deb, good to see you aint afraid to throw it around :o)
great videos mate keep up the good work. Wish I lived in WA so I could come on one of these trips!

Ronny Dahl r
Ronny would be great to see a Landrover out on the tracks.
I loooove the v8 rumble from the 70 series, but GOD DAMN Debs 80 sounds fucking amaaaaaazeballs
Another fantastic video Ronny! Looking forward to the next one already..
Thanks Heppo C As far as ancestors they would mostly be Danish....
this place looks sweet wish southland New Zealand had tracks like this
Awesome mate
Another amazing vid. Thx
Good one Mate.

Good stuff.

Hi Barry Mercer a video on vehicle comms is coming within a few months
Ronny, what do you reckon about tyre defectors? I’ve used a couple of different ones and I’ve gone back to just pushing in the valve with the key. I found those deflators seem the wear of the thread on the inside of the valve and wreck it after a while...

Awesome videos man
I'm going to Harvey on Saturday
Great video! Found your channel a few weeks ago and have watched almost all videos now :) Love watching your style evolve and they just keep getting better and more and more professional, keep it up! Also, what was wrong with Brians Jeep that made the awesome traction control stop working?
Ronny fantastic video, production quality and editing is amazing, can we expect a "Modified" episode on the JK?
Yep that one will be coming sooner or later, he just keeps adding stuff to it so we keep delaying the filming of it! Expect that one around the 10th episode perhaps even before.
Ronny Dahl sounds good, really digging this channel, what kind of drone are you using for filming? amazing footage , all the best.
fanfuckintastic footage. thanks mate!!
With the quad cam Ronny, are you using Go Pro Hero 4 or something else?
Great video Ronny. Were you using the drone for some of the motion footage on ground or some form of steady cam and walking?
Ever think about adding some more suspension height out of these trucks? Seems a mix between not enough height and not aggressive enough tires are for sure hurting all of you.
Hi Cole Hatfield we are a bit restricted to what we are allowed to have in AUS. Anything over the top stands out and gets pulled over right away by the boys in blue.
Awesome video Ronny. Appreciate your efforts. What video editing software do you use?
Peter Lee cheers mate, I use Adobe premier pro
Hey Ronny,
Which UAV are you using there ?
Seems to be rock solid in mid air :)
nice introduction
Good.
Ronny... Mate thanks for sharing your videos I really enjoyed it.... Btw I notice the jeep it's so quite mate,,,, why? It's looks like a Electric 4bie....
The toyotas are loud enough that you can't hear the jeep ;)
Yeah it is pretty quite but the jeep was even more silent before in previous videos it now has a new exhaust but it's still very quite.
Hah mate where abouts is Harvey dam in wa I'm assuming down south do you know the road of the entrance cheers ?
🙌🏻
Hey mate where abouts is Harvey dam what road is the entrance called assuming it's down south cheers
Great vids but could you take us throught thé technicals stuff: what gear, with or without thé diff locked....
Laurent C. thanks for the feedback and input, it is something I am looking at doing more of but I'm being careful not to talk too much too ;)
Awesome video as usual Ronny, just been wondering where did you get your Landcruiser boost gauges? Saw them in a previous video
Got them from SS auto repairs, they are in Wangara in Western Australia: ssautorepairs.com.au
there's a question, how much does your land cruiser weigh Ronny?
hey Ronny what do those 79 cruisers usually cost stock?. I like that rig of yours
+Damian Smith Be Careful they vary from 12K (for the same vehicle at the same place) depending on who you talk too at the dealership. Thats all I'm going to say...
+Damian Smith Hi Damian, they are around $75000 including GST for a single cab plus all the mods guessing around $110000 ,Cheers
hey ronny have u ever roll your landy on its side ?
another great video! can i ask what you shoot those stills with? they're great too!!
Cheers mate, cameras for stills are Canon 5D markiii
also music selection is great who are they

Ronny Dahl what do you keep or should on ur rig when you are not offroading, for myself my jeep is my daily driver ...
Everything stays on apart from my camping gear. I like my cruiser to be ready to go at anytime.
are u using your rig as a daily driver ?
seems to be difficult because of the terrain tires MT
How often do you actually use your hf radio, ronny?
Only use it when we go on remote travels, it's more for emergency situations so during a remote trip I will just check the radio comms out now and then to make sure it's all working. The antenna whip can actually come off 90% of my travels but I'm too lazy to remove it.

Thanks Jay, the drone was a phantom 2 vision+
Cheers Ronny
Nice video mate.
Maybe someone can help me. I have a stock 76 landcruiser. I dont know what upgrades to go with first. Im tempted to get a chip/exhaust put in first. Then maybe a lift? Any suggestions lads
Off-road tyres , diff locks , lights , spare parts like battery and tyres , winch , suspension , steel bars around the body etc..

What rack system is on Brians JK always wondered?
***** That's a Uneek4x4 roof rack.
Has the Jeep made any of you other guys consider getting one in the future?
mimixownzall No, for me it's too light and too small (not enough space) but thats just my opinion. I respect the Jeep but I would never own one.
Ronny Dahl Yeah, for what you guys do and what you need to carry, I can see your point.
superb video mate!! Subscribing.. what suspension do you guys usually use?
+Alonzo Bollozos we are alsorts... 79 LCDC has EFS XTR's, JEEP has Terraflex, Other 79 series has OME im pretty sure.
Alonzo Bollozos Why the Bloody hell did you talk like British...
hm... many cars without lockers? Why?
That should have read "great"
Amazing video as always! Can you tell me the name of the song at 14:30 ?
Greetings from Germany! :)
Thanks buddy, will get back to you the song name.
what about motor specs they sound pretty strong
steven shephard the 79 landcruisers are 4.2 to v8
What engine is in debz 80? That sounds brutal
Elian Hasanaga all details on her truck are in this video: ua-cam.com/video/HKQRF6kFBy4/v-deo.html
What camera you use?
McGlovennce Jon 5D markiii
Hey ronny would love you to enlist a coupla discoz amongyour adventures....
Moses Bagumira Bwengye there is one in this video: ua-cam.com/video/_YerHqeAwNY/v-deo.html
That's not mud, that's brown grease!
How do you get the overhead shots?
Josh Smart with a Drone
That's cool. Is it hard to control?
Thanks for the reply. Great vid
