@DoovallianStallion He doesn't fill the jigger. It's easier to pour into the glass because sometimes a full jigger can spill if you don't pour it quickly enough.
@DoovallianStallion He didn't fill the jigger up all of the way, that's why he added extra. Once you've been bar tending a while you don't even need a jigger. You can tell how much is an ounce or an ounce and a half.
You begin to understand quantities by practicing free-pouring into shot glasses, and then into cups and testing yourself by that method. Once you master the four count/ounce pour, then you can move on. That is the absolute first thing you should learn; Consistency with free-pouring. If he was trying to show beginners/non-bartenders how to pour the drink, he did it wrong anyway. You never fill the shot glass, dump it in and continue pouring extra alcohol (colored water in this case.)

yeah it's a perfect and light drink!
Its suppose to be a 2 to 1 ratio. 2 oz vodka 1 oz coffee liqure.
as a bartender, most bars or restaurants we work at will not let us pour that much. Most drinks will have 1.5 oz of liquor and .5 oz of liqueur.
