You make it all look so easy, but it's super complicated 🤯🤯- I wonder with all the new AI tools and other platforms coming if there is even a future for it.....I hope so as there as def advantages but it needs to be simplified I think ....!
Thanks for the feedback! We're definitely aware that the learning curve is steep and hope to simplify, first by creating shareable templates (or less setup time) and then exploring some automations, as you suggested. Appreciate your patience!
I like the idea of saving time filling out the relations in the set. However, the fact that you have to click on each cell makes it less than ideal. Hopefully, at some point it will be possible to navigate inside set views using only the keyboard.
Nice feature idea! I just added your comment to the feature request on our community forum, feel free to give it an upvote so it can get more visibility from our dev & product teams: community.anytype.io/t/ability-to-navigate-a-set-in-table-view-using-the-keyboard-only/2340
Hey! It was really fast in the video but I created a task within a course and gave it the tag: 'school'. You can also create a template for tasks (something like 'assignment' template with tag: 'school'), so each time you create a new assignment it will be auto-tagged 'school'. Hope it makes sense.
In this case, my course template has relation: Linked Object, which is linked to the Set: Study Hub. It's an inelegant workaround for now, but while the debate about whether objects should be linked to sets rages on, it works 😬
Agree with you here, thanks for the feedback. We are working to simplify the interface and concepts, and add more tutorial videos...hope it will help with making adoption easier
oh no :( soon (~2 weeks) we'll be sharing templates for these workflows so you won't need to build them yourself. In the meantime, if there are any specific things you'd like to accomplish and don't know how to make it happen, please let us know so we can try to help.
okay the features are absolutely amazing! however, this app is needlessly super complex. "objects" "sets" "relations" ? okay relation is intuitive but objects and sets are really poor naming choices. It might sound super intuitive to a programmers but not to normal folks. this experiential friction was completely unnecessary and that's the least bad UX this app/software has. notion feels much easier to use in comparision and that is something I never thought I would say about a note app after notion. do you guys not have a UX designer in your team? It feels like the whole experience was designed by a software engineer who thought a pretty looking app is all there is to good design smh. such an amazing app significantly held back by poor UX.
Hi! Thank you for your feedback, we're aware that the learning curve is steep and some of the naming and UX choices create unnecessary friction in the onboarding process. We have a design team that's actively working to simplify the presentation of some of these concepts - hope that in a few months' time the app will become more intuitive. Thanks for trying us out!
Far too complicated. You have no chance of following what she is doing. It's a shame I would have liked to use it for my studies but the time it takes to set it up is disproportionate.
I've been using Anytype for school for over a year and this video had a lot of new useful ideas for me that I'll be sure to add. Thank you very much!
Thank you for your kind words!
Thank you so much! I have prepared my hub study with this video!❤

It's impossible to see where are you clicking in the context menus.
Thanks for feedback! Will be adding zooms & click highlights in future tutorial videos.
Inline Tex can really come in handy for science/engineering/computer students 😅😉
Wait how did all your tasks get the tag "School" so you could filter them later?

How would you connect the courses to course list to study hub in the graphs?

What happens to my data if i switch my device??
Hi, you can use any device and access your data using your recovery phrase to log in, which works like a key to your account.
Learning curve is incredibly steep.

im lost:(

Way to fast of explanation too
Thanks for your feedback, I'll work on slowing down these explainers
❤

Your tutorials are just too fast, you're not saying what your searching. Of course you can slow down YT, but you could really slow down the typing.
Hi, thanks for the feedback! Will keep this in mind for future tutorials.
