He is the greatest German wide receiver in the vikings practice squad history.
🐐
Borhringer Akbar
Rugby lost a potential legend. Wonder why he would choose NFL over the Rugby league? They also make decent money....
mr t hes developing nicely in our practice squad, how can you say that when hes only 23? not nearly as much as the nfl btw
High Five He's fantastic in the NFL but I was wondering why he didn't choose Rugby instead of the NFL because it's more accessible in Europe and pays very good money, he would have made it in Elite Rugby in a number of months.. All the best to him though, I'm aware that he's still very young. I wish the NFL was more accessible in Europe.
Weiter, Moritz, immer weiter! Irgendwann irgendein Sonntag und es ist soweit. Bist einfach ein toller Jung.
und ab dann #jedenverdammtensonntag
Simmi0312 Isso 😂
Aber sowas von
Bennet Meyer a Bronco Fan that knows german?
The Vikings knew he would not be a star short term. They knew he could become a star long term. That's why he is on the practice squad and not playing right now. He has a lot to learn
you have to root for him. He seems like a genuinely great guy.
If Treadwell and Bohringer develop well, then rip other teams... Diggs, Treadwell, Bohringer and hopefully they keep Flash around and those are 4 scary playmakers right there and add Rudolph and what will probably be Mckinnon or a young newly drafted running back it could be scary with Bridgewater and Norv Turner as he and Teddy love to spread the ball around
Patterson is a beast. He just needs the ball more
I hope this guy makes it. I'm an Eagles fan but developed a liking and respect for the Vikings (Especially since they have my boy Bradford now lol), and Diggs is from my favorite college team.
the way he play from Germany to the USA is different but he still need more practice
Really hope this guy makes it.
Casey Rauchwarter i'm from germany. I dont care tbh. American football is one of the worst sport on the planet. Only americans care about
Armumfang: 22 Zoll Thanks for the useless bit right there.
Armumfang: 22 Zoll Moritz is German and cares about it
The Liquor well actually germany is the country with the most nfl fans in europe
Aaaaand he didn’t
this guy has potential, he's gonna show up when he gets the chance
my boy Atlas
yoo
im a sub, keep up the good work
Good to hear he is in the NFL he has talent
He's a good dude, good things come to those who wait.
Well said
Can't believe it has been 6 years. And I am sad that it did not work out for him :(
@@trapt29unfortunately:(
I hope the Vikes can develop him into an elite player
The guy has tons of talent, he just needs to learn how to play at the highest level
It was really cool to just see Diggs eye hawking him. Hopefully Moritz can learn a lot and maybe even train with Stefon and Laquon between now and this time next year.
Moritz Böhringer, Vikins Wide Receiver! :D
You are the reason why i start playing American Football with 40 this year, you and your way motivated me!
i've been an american football fan from belgium for years so i'm rooting for him, i hope to see him on the field in the future.
If he picked Rugby he would have been playing for the best teams easily, and he'd be earning a decent living.
mr t Thats not true rugby is very different and the standard in europe is way higher...
I really want this guy to do well. Great story line
really hope this guy makes it soon... Great guy and great potential
He will make it, and he will be amazing to watch. Count on it
John Bob next year :D
Such humble guy. Amazing!
only in german a child can make it though elementary and middle school with a name like kevin titz
You can in the States too, it's just that you come out tough like the Boy named Sue.
"Son, this world is rough
And if a man's gonna make it, he's gotta be tough
And I know I wouldn't be there to help ya along
So I give ya that name and I said goodbye
I knew you'd have to get tough or die
And it's the name that helped to make you strong"
Lolol I thought the same thing.
Jefff honestly stfu
Me and my homies love Moritz Böringer
God damn he seems so nice
I really want him to play
If you consider that he started playing football at the very late age of 17 in a complete amateur league, he has incredible potential. (how good could he be if he started with the age of 10 in a professional environment...)
I played and coached football (American version) in the UK and Europe long before Moritz Bohringer came along and although I'm a Vikings fan I didn't give him a prayer. But he's on the practice squad and it's up to him. Adam Thielan is a great story of how far back you can come to make the team, Moritz is coming from even further back but all the luck in the world to him. SKOL!
Gotta give this guy alot of props for being in a foreign country and speaking a foreign language and still having to keep up with everybody on the field. i really hope i see him start one day in the nfl
Have my hopes high for this man. Already a fan and he hasn't even played yet. Show em what you're made of man!
Really like this story and this guy. He came into a world where players are big name stars before going into the NFL and this guy still able to be on the practice squad is amazing. I hope in the short future he gets the starting job as Vikings WR and starts roasting DB's.
okay how could you not love this guy
I wish he'd be on the active roster! He deserves it!
But he does have a lot to learn about football and the NFL. He will become an amazing receiver in the NFL!
Treadwell just got activiated and has yet to see a snap. Won't see anything from him until next year. He will take a while to develop but I believe he is worth it as a project given his excellent athleticism.
i want to hug this dude, he worked so hard and got so close but didn't make it. i couldn't imagine how getting cut felt
I live in Austria and discovered football, when i was 20. It's just not that present in Europe, so you don't grow up with that understanding and even if you have the opportunity to play as a child it's way not that level as it is in the US. So for this guy to make it to the NFL I see as a much bigger accomplishment as for anyone in the NFL getting draftet out of college. I think, if this guy grew up in the US, probably he'd already be a starter in an NFL team. So Nothing but respect for him, even if he doesn't make it into a team.
Glad we are keeping him around he can play
I hope he catches on to the game of football quick. Wish nothing but the best for this physically gifted athlete.
Great boy.Has a lot of talent and i hope the vikings will keep developing him into a great player
Man I wish him the best. Seems like a good guy.
I wish this guy the best!!!! I really hope he makes it big !
I'm proud that Minnesota has the facilities to keep Moritz happy even when he is homesick, that's one of the reasons Minnesota will be great when the NFL goes international with teams in London and Germany.
I m glad he made the practice squad and deleveleps into a good slot receiver or a gunner on special teams seems like a nice kid ill be rooting for him as we pursue our first championship!!! GO VIKES!!!!
such a cool story...will be rooting for moritz
If it was New England, he'd be starting already
As much as I hate the patriots, you are right. Extremely right
Midnight Cruz69 coz he white
kids talkin NFL
And the Superbowl rings.
What about the language barrier who on the Pats speaks fluent German where is the German population in Boston.
Dwight Love I know vollmer is retired but he could help translate, he is from Germany.
glad for him. Hope he succeeds!
atleast he played better than odell
Jared Mascioli L
Soooooo did you watch OBJ today?
DJ Dirty Jerz L
Really hope this guy develops some day, I'll be watching out
i really hope to see him get big. i see alot of potential
I think this guy has a lot of potential, considering his size and speed are on par with each other! I'm also a sucker for really anything German. But this guy has potential, no doubt about it. Just has to be shown how to be better
Emerica! Making The Boss happy in Europe.
He's a fantastic blocker
Die Heimat drückt dir die Daumen, Mo! Bleib dran. :-)
hoped he learned and does well soon.. seem like a nice person.he make it to the NFL and to all haters be nice let the man tried his very best.
he's a freak of an athlete, if he can figure out football, I think he's gonna be fun to watch
proud of him
If he keeps working hard, and learning from the best here in America he'll be a top notch player.
I hope he gets to start...I have hope for you Mortiz
If you consider that he started playing football at the very late age of 17 in a complete amateur league, he has incredible potential.
At least he got to play in that sweet ass stadium
I'm a packers fan so I don't like the Vikings but I hope he does well and has a great career ahead of him!
The crazy thing is that i was with him at school and lived in the same city
bro this guy could be a beast💯. practice and he's gonna be something serious
A Gem, good job Spielman. SKOL
What a nice guy
FREAKY SPEED. That guy could be a matchup nightmare if he developps his ball IQ and hands. Good move by the Vikes to protect his confidence and introducing him to the league at a slower pace
I hope to see this guy ball up one day
I hope this guy makes it. if he does, it will open up a big door for the rest
Looking forward on listening to his mic ups
Patrick LMAO
I was stationed in Schwäbisch Gmünd 88-90 about 12 km from Aalen!!!
He's a pretty decent blocker. He puts in the effort
Go Moritz.
He was 22 yrs old right? He should have just joined a college team for one year to learn the way of the game naturally. It is so hard for him to adjust from Europe to nfl in a short of time but he is a freak of nature he will be all right
definitely has potential...that size and speed tho
Wait, his name is Moritz, right? The title says Mortiz.
+Owl Gaming NFL UA-cam channel is awful at spelling so yes its Moritz
Ryan H. Thanks!
Mor titz
no it doesn't
they changed it?
100 years past and Rick Spielman and I discovered the new receiver. A German named Mo. And although his football skills are great, he has a lot to learn before he's ready to play football. But I believe that Mo can save the world.
Good luck man!
i hope he gets his chance in the season 2017. i belive in him
moritz böhringer Hats drauf💪
these routes are sharp
Hes gonna get there. He has the physical talent he just needs refined
I start him in madden kid is a beast great hands n speed
the guy began with 17 he is yet 21 im think he has a lot of potential
I love these NFL videos!
can't wait until he plays In a game
Practice squad is a huge success for this guy considering his background.
Really hope he gets promoted from the Practice Squad at some point this season.
hes just great💪🏈
HATE the 'queens, but I love this story. Mad props to Moritz
Or is it Mortiz? Ive seen both spellings, and now Im unsure... Either way, kudos to this young man.
its Moritz
Vikings no queens in the cold north....
He got that tight end build now
Hang in there brother . Your time will come. Just keep learning the game, and lean out . Also, speed speed speed Mo. That's what you want. Follow AJ Green. Learn his style. AJ followed Megatron and trained like him.
zukünftiger Superstar
I got his autograph at the Viking's Training Camp.
He's a great blocker I'd like to see him at tight end
Go Mo! I'm sure if he's gonna make it next year, the wikings will have a lot more fans from germany. Like me :D
I hope he makes it because he is certainly never going to become a diva
We got Stefon Diggs, Charles Johnson, Adam Thielen, Cordarrelle Patterson, Laquon Treadwell,.... Diggs Johnson And Treadwell are all hopeful star wr's for us or atleast wr's who can produce. Patterson is even starting to become up there along with thielen... Bohringer could be on another team next season if we dont sign him to our 53 man roster ever. He could be a real talent in the NFL.
We still have Jarius Wright too. With all that traffic ahead of him he'll never get to play.
92Nick182
I don't think Johnson is playing very good and they already tried to trade wright.
Michael Kitzmann Wright looked good this weekend and Johnson seemed to click with Bradford against the Giants but you never know.
He'll be ready to play probably next season. If he studies film a lot like Tom Brady,Peyton, and Wentz(shows promise) he will know the game and will probably be good. He should play Tight End though so he could play regular season games to at least block when AP runs the ball
I'll pick him up on my mut team
He's not in mut. I've checked :,(
he is
He is, he is a 58 overall bronze, I got him starting off and his first 2/3 passes were a touchdown by a WR screen
Good news: Vikings gave Böhringer a future contract for 2017. I'm sure they wouldn't have done that if he didn't show potential over the last year. I think he will be following Adam Thielen's career path. I think might see him on special teams for the 2018 season.
Throw this man the ball
"local hero" hahahaha half of Europe haven't heard of American Football
Cameron Bierman local means in the country. If he would be a hero in europe it would be continental
I don't think you know what local means
In Germany local means: 50 cilometres around, but football is getting very popular in our country #RanNFLsüchtig
ThatBoy Tjark #JedenVerdammtenSonntag
#schmiso
I don't know why this guy isn't in our roster. I bet he'd make a great running back or receiver.
He found out how big the step up is from Europe to the NFL in training camp after getting put on the practice squad. (Which is still good) He's still making more money playing football than the majority of us make. But he has a long way to go to make the pros. If he follows Adam Thielen around he might figure it out. That's exactly how he made the team and is now starting. Work in progress, keep your nose clean, and never stop trying to get better. SKOL
I hope he will play in NFL regular season for viking, get some nice catches or maybe touchdowns ;)
not this season, next one or two
i know ;)
Wish the Vikes would play him
TwinsFan11 he is far from ready so I am glad he doesn't play
He's not good enough yet, but he's got amazing potential and ability, he'll see playing time in a year or two, mark my words!
If your big and fast the NFL will find you
The german unicorn i wished he could have been a wr with kirk cousins #8 #81 they would have been great together in the superbowl 2018
Dude is gonna a be a beast if trained correctly
he looks like a good TE
