This was great! I just received some bands then found this work out. It was a challenge even with the lightest band. I'll admit, i didn't sweat or anything, but definitely felt it in my upper legs/booty/glutes. Worked some different muscles! awesome awesome.
I think it's good to remember if someone is at the beginning of their journey and they're overweight you don't have to do the full time if you can obviously it's best build up to what you can do that's where I'm at right now I'm doing the best I can and I feel good that I've done something!!
I could feel this working the lower part of my glutes that I don't usually hit, where women get dimples. Great idea to use this BEFORE squatting to activate more muscle groups.

If anyone is interested in calories burned during this video: I did this workout this afternoon while wearing a FitBit Inspire 2, and burned 70 calories. I'm 26/F, 155lbs and 5'2. In terms of experience, I've been losing weight for about 8 months through diet and began exercising 4 months ago. I've done this workout a few times. Before this video, I did a 28 minute cardio workout (ua-cam.com/video/Ba3qZjzPonI/v-deo.html), a 10 min standing ab workout (ua-cam.com/video/Qia2ZXEzyLw/v-deo.html), and a 20 min cardio kickboxing workout (ua-cam.com/video/a3PQx-0LOsY/v-deo.html). If you use a FitBit, this was 3 zone minutes for me, mostly strength training with a bit of fat burning in there during those clamshells!
Dang, I liked it until the second to last move. That move doesn't work well with my spinal break. :( Otherwise, worked well for my knees, which have no cartilage, so squats are 100% out of the question. Guess I'll need to supplement something else in that section.lol. Happens.

As long as it's comfortable for you. If your belly is already big you surely do not want to do excersices lying on the belly. :-)
