I picked 5 Beit Alpha Cucumbers today. They`re very delicious and sweet. No bitterness near the stem end at all. I`m hoping to get to try Armenian Cucumbers this year. I found a great deal on Paris Market Carrot seeds...19,000 for 8 bucks. Every seed I planted of those this spring made a little round carrot but I didn`t get many seeds. They`re the easiest of all to grow and make tubers much faster than other types. They can grow in poor soil and don`t require thinning and mine did great mixed in with radishes and spinach. I planted Cape Gooseberries & Ground Cherries this year and they`re doing great. I can`t wait to try them. I hope I like them because I have a bunch of them.

In addition to my garden plot, I've spent the day planting containers and hanging baskets with a little extra veggies. Placing them any suitable spot I can find. We'll see if it's worth the effort. 😊
