@@nanni5230 yea you’re right but it’s not a reason. The reason is in cs2 you don’t have fake so even when guy is spinning you will see his real hitbox. The second reason is anti-aim made agains players with aimbot. Only thing is needed is autowall to kill everyone through the walls😊
It's so infuriating seeing how many cheaters there are in CS2. Like flom said, when you see someone who has no clue how the game works or how to move but they still just pop heads you already know. It drives me insane

Watching the Beta Leaderboards was HILARIOUS xD Some dude on Asian Server just rocked a 98% winrate with close to 200 games. Out of the Top 50 atleast half had close to 100% WR with hundreds of games...Valve please

on faceit. every 20 games there is atleast 15 cheaters in the past 200 games

csgo lately was WAY less worse than CS2 you had a cheater 1 out of 5 games but in cs2 nearly every round you have one

I almost forgot this is essentially still CS:GO, just with nicer graphics. I played 3 matches and in two of those we had blatant wallhackers prefiring the sht out of every random angle there is. At first I was in denial, because its a "new" game. But then it got to me. Valve still does not care about cheaters.
Yup, it's been every like 3 games still, some random hard carry that only prefires the angles my team is holding...
@@havenbrush7100 yeah. Last match I played, the guy in our team had 45 kills. I was second place with 7. He solo steamrolled the enemy team and they were all adamant he is cheating. Calling out his prefires and stuff. The little hype I had for the game died down pretty quickly. Its just CS:GO all over again and the visuals dont look different enough anymore after a few weeks.
Don't worry lil' buddy. AI Anticheat will absolutely demolish hackers. Just think how easy it is for people to recognize this level of cheating.
Valve doesn't want to actually have a good anti cheat. If they did, they would. Valve knows a solid 30-40% of the player base IS NOT legit and they simply don't want to ban that many players.

In most mid ranks, cheaters are often so shit that they can’t even win with wall hacks. They usually need aim assist to be able to validate their pathetic lives.
At higher levels where players have superb aim, these cheaters can’t even win with aim assist
Their reaction time is absolutely trash. This is why my friends and me change our tactics when we notice cheaters. If you don't hold angles until they prefire kill you with wh and aimhack but hold behind corners and peek them when they push onto you they have to react and they will need 2+secs to react. If you kill them in that 2sec they are fucked. This is the best way to fuck up cheaters.

Honestly csgo is a bad example, I love csgo but the anti cheat is years behind everyone else. Yeah there are cheaters in maybe every game, but definitely not as much as cs, it’s like they gave up lol. I think valorant has the best anti-cheat and I’m not even a fan of that game tbh.

This here is exactly what made me quit Counter Strike completely after 1000+ hours of playtime. Nowadays I play Valorant and I'm happy that it has far less cheaters, even if it means enduring more intrusive anti-cheat solution. It makes the game more enjoyable

With how much focus Valve put into trying to use AI early on for cheat detection, it's crazy they haven't been leaps and bounds ahead since the AI learning models have been vastly improved. I am really hoping AI is the solution to stopping cheaters but it doesn't seem Valve is that much longer invested in making sure that happens. I'm just really tired of playing against cheaters.
First of all AI is not the right tool for cheat detection. Machine learning in it's core is statistical pattern matching. This means it's practically a best fit. The problem is AI is by design never a 100% fit and can never be. This means you always have an error rate by design. When detecting cheaters you cannot have an error rate because you cannot have false positives. So AI will never be the right tool to detect and ban cheaters and I am really glad that valve realized that. Also AI did not improve at all. It has been the same for decades. ChatGPT is no improvement on AI. They just found somebody stupid enough to pay the money to train it with the whole internet and now the are running their marketing scheme to get the money back out of it as fast as they can.. That's it. There is no improvement other than more data. AI currently is a massive scam and either we don't hear anything about it in a few years or we will have faulty AI systems everywhere and we are fucked.

I have played CS for 20 years, I'm a software engineer, I have seen code of several cs cheats, I know how antivirus software and anticheat software works, I know how game engines work internally, how netcode works and I have built my own game engine from scratch and I have implemented my own neural network from scratch in c.
What are your references? How do you think I don't know what I'm talking about and why do you think you know better? m8?
AI is statistical pattern matching and like every pattern matching algorithm it has a limit of matching, hence an errorrate that you cannot have in an anticheat because once you start banning legit players you are fucked!
OpenAI and ChatGPT is nothing new. It's the same as the models in the 60s. The only thing that changed is that we have hardware and money to train it with the whole internet as input. That has been done now. Tell me if it's just the beginning how do we progress from here to make AI better? Train it with more data? where will this data come from? Improve on MLs which has not been achieved in 70 years for very good reasons? How should OpenAI proceed to get it to not output mostly complete bullshit? Because it does on a regular basis and the reason is the very architecture of MLs. ChatGPT is at the absolute maximum what this architecture can provide and it's completly shit for anybody who can actually verify it's output. If you want to learn about AI you should maybe look at experts in the field and not some CEOs who have to market their bullshit, in which they sank billions of investormoney and now have to earn that money back or AIbros who have been Cryptobros not even a year ago and have to chase the next hype because the last one blew up.
@@nviwraith5271it has been 70 years of AI actually, it's not a new thing. We only recently got the computing power capable of making it do more valuable things but that doesn't mean that the tech itself is new.
The only issue here is that AI anticheats are a new thing and will take a lot of time to train and tweak for a first person shooter. It's something where data is continuous, not discrete, and this makes it both a great fit for AI and also very challenging to make AI great with it (this is due to training data being much more variable and harder to construct patterns from the data itself when compared to games like chess where it's very easy to)
those AI anticheat will never detect a cheater that is actually hiding it. the AI is only good for doing what people can already do but in much shorter times and much less effort (meaning detecting blatant cheaters by going through hours of demos).
if he uses radar or just wallhack for info and very soft aim assist - how would you even go about training an AI to detect such a thing? it is undetectable just by looking at gameplay. and the moment it will be detectable they will just hide it even more.

After you call out a cheater, they deny it all the way to the last round then rage cheat.......and leave the server, doesn't know or care that he/she was reported.

I was questioning why FACEIT is even relevant anymore. Then it dawned on me - Anti-cheat (obviously there will still be cheaters, but an additional measure gives me some sense of security)
The elo system is more transparent and better, the teams are more even in most matches, even though Valve forced 64 tick (fuck you Valve, give us 128 for our own servers) the servers are STILL better in terms of choke/loss/VAR

Me too. This is so annoying in this game. On one hand people who call out cheats without reason but also people who flame you if you call out cheats with reason. I have a friend I don't play with any more because of that. I only called that we need to change our strat because the one guy is cheating and I got flamed for it. I showed him the demo afterwards and he called it lucky that he spinbotted twice killing 3 enemys around him in 3 ticks. Never playing with him again.

Cheaters are so despicable, if you want to be so good then actually put in the time to learn what makes a good player a good player, it isn't always about how often you're getting insane kill feeds or crazy one taps, it's about the tactics and thoughts leading all of your decisions made during a round, and to say "Fuck that, I'll just pay money to be better" is so sad that I don't even pity them, it's just entitled scum behavior, they want a short cut because they're used to instant gratification, probably their entire life, because how someone could actually feel good about cheating and not end up feeling hollow is just weird, their entire life has probably been like that and as such are numb to that feeling.
That's what makes it barable for me to be stuck in a game against a cheater. The thought that they are doing this because that's how their character is but in real life you cannot buy cheats if you are not insanely rich. Their parent's credit card might buy them their cheats now but in most cases their parents won't have enough money to buy them success in life and with that entitlement and absolute resistence to learning and improvement it's pretty clear how they will end up.

had to stop playing CS 2, no anti-cheat... besides the FPS EXTREME DROP from cs-go, the water command ineffective on Premier, the amount of cheaters in CS 2 is something unbelievable and stupid
CSGO never had such blatant aimbotters. It had a machine learning solution called Vacnet to catch rage cheaters. I don't understand why people can rage hack in CS2 for dozens of matches or hundreds without detection through their behavior. No need to detect the executable at this point.
Guy was rage hacking in csgo about 10 months ago with a $2k inventory. He just got banned 2 days ago. Name was Apollo

That is "VAC secured servers" for you guys, the game is like literally 2 days old and cheaters are already flooding in with Zero action taken against them 90% of the time.
My most recent game I got a faceit lvl 10 cheating on a bought acc in my team, another one talked about playing with cheats on other accounts as well, and got two cheaters in the enemy team, all completely blatant ones, nobody tried to hide anything, mfs were aiming through walls and shooting through smokes
In CS:GO this was a common occurrence for matches without prime, now it doesn't matter anymore at all

Played some dude in premier named “ren” who was like pretty obviously soft aiming but we were still beating his team. Then, second half started and he started spinning. We didn’t stand a chance.

I actually played against these cheaters in the video (e.g., Alexis, Binary...) in pubs recently, they definitely are blatant cheaters and they still lost. Sad and pathetic.

I remember i called out a waller because his movements where always weird. I dont say anyone is cheating most of the time since i know i am not that super great at the game but i can tell when they prefire something when i was not even going to turn a corner. I've been a Counter-Strike player since version 1.0, and some of my fondest memories are from playing in cybercafés over LAN until the early hours. Back then, we used regular keyboards and 21-inch CRT monitors. As a dedicated fan, I've closely followed the evolution of the game.
While CSGO was enjoyable, it wasn't without its flaws. However, it seems that since the launch of CS2, Valve's commitment to addressing cheat issues has waned. It's disheartening to see a lack of effort in combating cheating, which is a critical aspect of maintaining a fair and enjoyable gaming experience.
One major concern is the push for everyone to migrate to the newer version, despite the game not being stable. It's frustrating to witness this move without the necessary stability and without addressing fundamental issues. As a result, it feels like Valve may have lost interest in maintaining the integrity of the game, leaving players like myself disappointed in the direction the series has taken.

This is the exact CS2 experience, I got placed in 3k, I top frag on my team, but when I don’t I spectate the team mate and he looks gold nova 1 max and definitely cheating. Majority of players at 3-8k are SO BAD, but somehow kill so well..why release a game with the same cheating issues?

Such a terrible look for Valve. I had three of my close friends try CS2 for the first time. First game in Casual, a blatant cheater.
Thankfully they were still having a great time, they didn't really know what was happening, they just thought he was better. But I could imagine the frustration they could feel if they started Comp and had the same experience.
Of all the things Valve should focus on, it's this. The other QoL changes can come after they solve this issue imo....

Yeah, just ran into a duo cheater combo while playing with a friend who I'm trying to convince to get into the game. We were on ancient and we had two head shots 0.5 seconds into the round in spawn through the entire map (both headshots with awp literally in T spawn). then another headshot (no-scoped) through the wall 1.5 seconds later. Literally not even trying to hide it...
Got a notification that someone I reported for cheating got banned today but "ThErE's No ChEaTeRs iN cS2 YeT." 😂

The worst part about cheaters is that they put 0 effort into learning the basics of the game. They have no game sense, no aim and no movement. Without cheats they'd be hardstuck silver.

I though I am just ultra bad because I don't see and predict every monvement of the enemy. I played a couple of games and we were getting rushed in 3-4 round and we were the therorists. My team was so confused what was going on.

Back when i used to play Combat Arms if someone had a 1.8+ kdr they were suspicious, if they had a 2.0+ kdr it was pretty much guaranteed they were hacking. CSGO/CS2 is easier to get higher kdrs but idk why people don't use the metrics more to catch cheaters or at least know who to watch better.

before anyone says there are no cheaters or less cheaters in other games are delusional. in counterstrike it's much easier to notice because there are a lot of mechanical skills involved that you cant fake with cheats. it's very obvious when people are cheating.

Valve should use passport verification to tackle this but i guess they earn too much with skins and the five dollar openng fee for the multiple cheat accounts.

Cheating should be against the law, lol. Like a traffic law, a hefty fine.
At tournament most laws would even be applicable because it's about money, a lot of it. But nobody tries to sue cheaters in tournaments and honestly I don't know if judges would even take a case like this even if they should.
