    I really enjoyed this video. During treatments all my hair fell out. It’t finally long enough for a haircut. My dryer just died after over ten years of use. I had a T3 and just bought a replacement. My hair is still delicate and this dryer is perfect for me. I ordered the products that you used so my hair doesn’t”t get damaged. The Shark set looks great but it was still a bit expensive for me. It took about ten minutes for me to dry and style. I do want the T3 curling iron at some point. Watching you stole, it looks like the two brush attachments are very big and harder to use. I’m glad you did this video. Another Chester that I watch said you should curl away from your face. Not sure why. Your hair looks great using the barrels.

      Thank you for sharing this! I'm glad you are doing better! I still need lots of practice with the curling barrels, but I'll get the hang of it! Appreciate you watching!

    Steff love how your hair looks, so pretty. Definitely much cheaper then the dyson, and works the same. Love it.

    I was saving up for a Dyson and almost there but I think I’d rather pick this up instead. It’s still expensive but it’s a waaaay better price point.

      I would. It does same thing and I like that it bends. If you try it, let me know what you think!

    I have the Dyson but this looks like a good alternative. Mine was an Extremely generous birthday gift. I Love it! I have very thick, frizzy hair and it cuts my dry time in half! AND mitigates frizz enough that I don’t have to heat-torture my hair by straightening it after drying it.

      Dyson products are amazing. My hair dryer works so well, which is why I’d been eyeing the Air Wrap, but when I say this I knew it was my time to try. I’ve always known Shark to be a good brand and they didn’t disappoint with this. Sure there are a couple tweaks I’d make but nothing major.

    The way you can fold the thing is very convenient. It makes it easier, you don't have to lift your arms so high up. So better for your posture. I don't know if the Dyson has that.
    Very interesting, thanks for the review!

    • @SteffsBeautyStash

      Nope! Dyson doesn’t bend like this one does. It’s a cool feature that makes them different.

    I also had to have very wet hair for the curling attachments on the Dyson. It said 20% damp but that didn't work, it had to be not dripping but aswet as possible without dripping.

    Thanks for this review! My hair is just a tad longer than yours and all one length, and the only thing keeping me from buying it is that I wish there was a smaller barrel for curling. I usually use a 1” curling iron. Plus, I probably wouldn’t use the brush attachments (I baby my hair bc I have had issues with hair loss - esp post-Covid), and I’m so afraid of it pulling. 🙃😂
    Loved the review, Steff. I appreciate you!

    I’m really considering buying this even though it’s a little pricey. I’ve been using the revlon brush dryer and I feel like it has damaged my hair quite a bit as it gets way too hot and tugs on my hair. I use good products and I have pretty tough hair so I’m quite surprised to see all the flyaways I have at my root

    Thanks so much for the video! You mentioned about curling in the right direction? I think you are supposed to curl the hair away from the face, so opposite of how you did it at first from what I could see. But this is really helpful. My hair does not stay curled at all with a curling iron, so I’m wondering if this will work… 🤔 ❤

    • @SteffsBeautyStash
      @SteffsBeautyStash  Рік тому

      It's recommended to curl away but you can do whatever you want really. I do it in both directions. I have to say, I've been using this at least twice a week and I have gotten better and using the barrels and styling my hair. It's an amazing tool!! A great gift!

  • @Alexandra.Serna.24

    In the instructions, when you use the round brush, it’s supposed to be used when the handle is straight. Not at a 90Degree angle. I think that’s why it doesn’t glide as well bc the way you had it was wonky

  • @kerriwright4593
    @kerriwright4593 2 роки тому

    The barrels basically curl towards or away from your face and how you hold the tool determines what one you need. I rotate each curl because it looks more natural but how you were holding the tool for the second side you didn't actually need to switch barrels I don't think.

  • @raylong7744

    Maybe try using the other brush attachment but don’t use it at the ‘7’. Straighten it like the revlon one so you can really get up under the hair root and also pull back at your crown like you would a circular round brush. Smaller sections=more volume instead of just doing the top half of your hair and bottom half. I think it would look great curled away from your face and as your hair gets more collarbone length. I’m trying to grow my hair out too and taking liquid collagen and Lyposomal hyaluronic acid + msm.
    The shark looks promising tho. Cuz $600 for a Dyson and then most of us probably got ripped off on the Chinese knockoff websites that charged you and then shut down or basically just burned up lol

    As my hair is very thick and curly, I just leave it to air dry - boring, I know, but hey ho 🤷‍♀️. So, it's definitely not on my list of things to buy 😂😂
    It must fun trying out new styles with new tools and this set looks awesome 👌.
    From watching other YT'rs, I think the hair, on either side, is supposed to go away from the face (unless a bob look is required). I'd have hair going in all the directions under the sun if I was to try this 😂😂😂😂

    Thanks for sharing this review I hadn’t tried anything from this brand sounds good unfortunately I have a pixie hair cut and it’s taking years to get it longer enough to use my dry bar blow dryer similar to the revlon one but I don’t think that I would like $600 for a Dyson one I have my regular Dyson blow dryer with the normal attachments and I am not impressed with it I don’t feel that makes a big difference between a blow dryer of $120 vs $300 so I don’t know maybe later the prices will be a little bit affordable and I will have a longer hair ( I had 3 brain surgeries so I lost my hair so it’s taking forever to get a nice hair cut 😕) I always had a longer hair but it’s what it is 🤷🏻‍♀️but I really appreciate that you’re giving us another option that it will not break your bank account 😉👍🏻👋🏻🙋🏻‍♀️🙏

    I have the shark and have only used it a couple types. Each time that I’ve tried it with the curling attachments, it leaves a bunch of crimp marks / lines in my hair. I have no idea what I’m doing wrong! Has anyone else had this issue?

    • @SteffsBeautyStash
      @SteffsBeautyStash  2 роки тому

      I wonder what could be causing that? I have no idea because there are no clips on it. My only suggestion is keep watching videos and practicing. There is a learning curve with these tools.

    • @lisap6584
      @lisap6584 2 роки тому +2

      I watched another video which said that if the hair is too tight on the wand it leaves these marks. I don't have one so I don't know how to prevent this. I think I'm going to get the Dyson Airwrap as I have horrific frizzy flyaway hairs and their attachment for this alone would make it worth the money.

    I hated the airwrap. I have long, thick hair and it just simply didn't work. If you have shorter, thinner hair I can see the benefits but it didn't do anything for me. Curls didn't hold, blowout looks frizzy, took forever to just dry, so I sold it and got something similar to that Revlon blowout tool and just use a curling iron lol.
