Really good to see Tony G enjoying the moment see @3:15 & @3:50
Every grain of sand, ⏳ my love Bob Dylan ❤️ Elizabeth
My observations about Tony Garnier:
1. Doesn't blab personal info about Bob to the press.
2. His attitude towards Bob is always of the highest respect and admiration.
3. In that video where Bob falls, he's the ONLY one in the band who reacts and makes sure Bob is okay.
4. Bob interacts with him more than the other guys, and they laugh/smile together pretty frequently.
5. Awesome bass player.
6. He obviously enjoys Bob's music on a soul-deep level.
Rock on Tony. Loyalty and professionalism. Nothing but respect for this guy. 🙏
Tony responding to Bob's variations with pure delight.
Gorgeous.
I was three rows back. Was very touching. I could go to see Dylan every night of my life.
His voice has been so good and true the last 2 years. I think we are hearing the real Bob Dylan. He has had plenty of time to stretch and try different things, but now it’s like he knows he is in his senior years and can just be himself.
Totally agree!!
@@meninagreen5704 it’s so good and aligns 100% with how I feel. I’m probably going to have that line on my headstone. ‘In the fury of the moment I can see the master's hand
In every leaf that trembles, and in every grain of sand.’
@canislupis3129 wow!!! I love that idea.!
Thanks. Sorry i didnt see it sooner. I like it because whatever i choose to believe about God is fine for me. If others dont want to hear preaching, this is an excellent alternative thay is mild enough that most people will be able to take something away with them. Bob also says he does not have the inclination to look back on earlier mistakes. I feel like i get that very well, ive spent a lot of my adult life feeling guilty about where I have fallen short. I've tried to atone for them. Now I want to look ahead. This aligns with my thinking well. @meninagreen5704
Mr Garnier is always phenomenal. He's New Orleans musical royalty. So lucky to have him all these years. Grateful.
And forgive me, Woohall, thank you, God bless you for live performance of my heart, ❤️, Bob Dylan, Elizabeth ❣️
Bless you Elizabeth no need to add apologiise
I love you Bob Dylan and Nightly moth and Theme time, and I thank you, For every " Grain 🌾 of sand" God bless you 🙏 my friends, Elizabeth ❣️
In the hour of my confession I see the masters hand in every leaf that crumbles in every grain of sand. Master prophet, great schooling
I traveled to Lyon for this concert after seeing him in October 2022 in Brussels, Manchester and London. Every Grain of Sand is an absolutely stunning song which I've only really understood how special it was after the last of his London shows when it really felt he was saying goodbye to the fans and the city.
In the eyes I see my reflection, like every grain of sand. In the hour of my confeeion I see the masters hand like every hair is numbers,
Are you deaf or what ,
There's no greater love than when The Lord gives us an assignment to learn and to come to the reality of knowledge of what is in a man's heart. That I know and cherish from Bobby Dylan ❤
Voice is amazing. One of my favorites. I like the vocal syncopations against the beat. Has a 40s throwback feel to it, which no doubt he intended.
Praise the Lord the one true God who shall return someday in all his glory
Bobby Dylan gave his heart to the whole wide world ❤
Tony Garnier is the all time MVP of the Never-ending Tour !
Golly gosh just sit and watch a huge true blue thankyou from downunder. 🙃☕🙃🌈 inspirational at its best.

Thanks man, did you record the beautiful audio ?
I recorded the audio, it turned out pretty well I think. I posted the full show audio on here, link to lossless files in description and I put the link on Expecting Rain too. Is this audio from the original video?
@@nightlymoth not my original film audio, I got sent the full show yesterday so it must be yours,I will add a credit/link this evening. Great job and pity we didn’t meet
Sounds different to mine I think
Every Grain of Sand
In the time of my confession, in the hour of my deepest need
When the pool of tears beneath my feet flood every newborn seed
There’s a dyin’ voice within me reaching out somewhere
Toiling in the danger and in the morals of despair
Don’t have the inclination to look back on any mistake
Like Cain, I now behold this chain of events that I must break
In the fury of the moment I can see the Master’s hand
In every leaf that trembles, in every grain of sand
Oh, the flowers of indulgence and the weeds of yesteryear
Like criminals, they have choked the breath of conscience and good cheer
The sun beat down upon the steps of time to light the way
To ease the pain of idleness and the memory of decay
I gaze into the doorway of temptation’s angry flame
And every time I pass that way I always hear my name
Then onward in my journey I come to understand
That every hair is numbered like every grain of sand
I have gone from rags to riches in the sorrow of the night
In the violence of a summer’s dream, in the chill of a wintry light
In the bitter dance of loneliness fading into space
In the broken mirror of innocence on each forgotten face
I hear the ancient footsteps like the motion of the sea
Sometimes I turn, there’s someone there, other times it’s only me
I am hanging in the balance of the reality of man
Like every sparrow falling, like every grain of sand

Bob's voice has a nice harmony here
Una perla di straordinaria bellezza
Wow. 🦋 Simply and purely divinely delivered. Thank you Woolhall 🙏
Absolutely Michelle his performance that evening was sublime.
@@woolhall 🙌🫶🫂
I think some of these performances I saw recently in this style, are similar to some of the transcendental songs that I have seen by Van M
ie Someone Like You, It’s All In The Game or The Healing Has Begun
Thank you very much to the teams you are genius 👏
How many thumbs up can we put on this? Why only one?
Thanks a lot for sharing this.
Can't wait for last date in Rome on 9th July
I added another one for you

Siamo arrivati adesso dal concerto di Milano . Fenomenale Bob ❤🍇
Thank You 🙂
❤🔥❤️🔥❤️
Dylan's voice is great
Divino Bob a Milano 🍇❤️
His voice is sounding clear
Magnifique !!! ⭐️🎼
Wow magical arrangement
Elitistic sonorités
Tony was digging how Bob played the piano, especially around 3:50 when Bob ended the chorus solo with a low "thud." 😆 😍🤩😍 Love it!
Thank you for this. Very tasty.
Danke, Thanks, Gracia 🎶 🙏🤝👏 💞 👑🫂
beautiful
Fantastic!!!!! Thanks for capturing and sharing this tremendous piece of work!
Thanks @ArturArtist You have set the benchmark for others to strive for, so it means a lot, keep up the good work with your restoration work x
I am so lucky
On good form!x
Excellent video - thank you so much!
By the way, if we compare this one with the previous ones you posted, from the 1984 tour, it seems that he has kept the same shirt 39 years after...
I agree Wembley/Newcastle thanks for your kind comments
Cool concert hall

Dedicated to Godber my cell mate 🍺
❤❤❤
Thank you very much for this. I saw Dylan two nights before in Aix-en-Provence and now I have a tangible souvenir to remember the show - one of the most memorable of my life.
Interestingly, he played just a bar or two on harmonica for this song and it brought the house down. I'm curious if he played the harp at the other Lyon show(?)
No unfortunately not , 2 great shows nevertheless
@@woolhall Yes, but you were front and center!
@@ibodhidogma not exactly but slightly to stage left and halfway back !
We got a great harmonica solo at Sevilla 🙂
*Psalm 139:17-18
They're all watching closely, cuz who knows what Bob's gonna do.
The voice is clear and the enunciation is great, although it is more of a recitation of the lyrics than a singing of them. The piano playing is very good, much improved. Nice.
Bob is looking like Marty Allen these days. But awesome music!
Trying to hear the words of every grain of sand.
My man Bob lovin life at age 82 the same way he was at age 28 !
he sounded better when he was 28
He's really improving, i should say. Now he sings pretty good, comparing to his previous years. I wont be surprised if he took some vocal lessons. Impressive
WTF ??
@@harveythompson1756 Indeed. 🙄
there's a moment at 3:37... Charlie Drayton sets it up with a fill and then the whole band breathes... lovely..
this was one of the best lyrics due to "murdock" meadi/beatle manager song about Sandy turned it into a movie Grease, and police headquarters. Beatle song PAM< his sister only "he" did incest with other sister etc. Anyway its why the POpe visited Mauritous the other day as they were there & South Africa. God bless the "german" Pope who wanted to be a butcher. I did know a butcher back then owner a brick factory, destroyed in a fire UK bands then did Thick as a Brick etc. All bullshit. OM
listen BD should I chase Taylor Swift? try to make physical contact? DB showed up here the other day.
