New sub. So many wonderful relics you retrieved. My favorite was the old cow bell, they are rarely found in such good condition. Beautiful location.👏😀👍
Thats exactly right it's part of a suspender clasp. I've found a bunch of bells, but never a huge cow bell! Very cool! Sweet buttons, love the tombac! Great finds brother, Wicked happy hunting! 👊
That's a hornet nest! I'd take 5 Bee hives over a single hornet nest any day! Your heavy wire x is one side of a spool of wire. They're still used on fencing wire, both barb wire and other strung wire.
@@philliplawson-h3d Thanks that’s it! I did come across some barbed wire not to far from it. Those bald face hornets are nasty. Luckily they left me alone that day.
Awesome video and finds love the old cow bell congratulations
@@MarvinHuff-cp2gg Thanks! The cow bell is my favorite so far at that site. A first for me.

@@wicked_digger Thanks! That cow bell was a first for me. My favorite find there so far. It’s been a fun spot!
Nice work!! I think that heavy thing is a .58 caliber sabot ( modern) that spot looks familiar😀
@@baystateplugflipper7061 haha I’m sure I’m not the first on that spot. Still some goodies left
You have my respect - hunting walls is a pain (uneven terrain, overgrown trees, beer cans and rocks)
@@Shackleton71 not the easiest for sure, but pays off sometimes.
Gotta come up to the Winchendon/Rindge area....loaded with cellar holes.
@@chrismoore7287 I’ll have to make it up there sometime. Always looking for new spots
Not bad, I'm going to hit a local park that always produces.
Man, I can't metal detect or even take rocks from public land in PA:(
@@panativeandnaturegirl5862 depends on the town in MA.
You ever try green briar?
No I’ve seen people detecting it before. Probably a lot of trash from the floods in the 50’s
