Hi Greg! About arcs - you're familiar of that because we talked once about it. But a VERY important info for beginners. Some of the Leicas (i.e. TS11 as I remember) has an error in software when setting out open arcs (more than 180 degrees). The error occurs when you want to setout an arc with two points and center of circle. Software somehow calculate an arc based on three points of the arc and set out flatten arc which is different that you want and less than 180 degrees. Be very careful when setting out reference arc with more than 180 degrees. Safe method is to use three points on the arc setting out. Almost always :)
Another great video👍 I used to work on the project where whole building was an arc. I remember checking even three times that I choose the points correctly 😅
Hi Greg , your videos are really helping me. Am a mine surveyor in the past have been using TS02 and TS06 plus, but the decided to buy TS15, what I need is please help me, on how to interpolate between two points Which has elevation using reference line in TS15 am really struggling. Thanks.
Create the line and use measure to line option, the heights will be taken from the line - its interpolated. Dont stake the line, measure to line. With TS06 was better and simpler 😁
Thanks great video mate your really good. If only you show us how to make good control points and how to give levels for stairs and info on working with stairs and lift shafts
hi Siteng could I check the verticality of a circular column with this. What function could i use on a TS 16 to thecheck that because that's the instrument i have. Thanks in advance.
Hi, I’ve been using a TS06 for years. When I set out an arc, I always used the centre and start point function. I’ve recently upgraded to a TS15 and it doesn’t seem to have that option for setting out an arc. Is there a way of downloading that program to the instrument?

Thanks Edyta! I know how it is, but the more checks the less mistakes :)
Thanks Greg, great video 🙏
Glad you enjoyed it Emre!
very informative, thanks Greg!
My pleasure Lidia! Thanks for comment

Hi Khalid! I'll try to show this soon, will try to go and show the slipform as well :)
Good video could you make video with with ref plane on ts 06
Hi Gamer! Thanks! Can't promise you that as I am very busy now
Thank you 😇
Can you show us marking an arc in plain terrain and irregular terrain? Does it work!
Hi, can't promise any soon, hope you will be happy with this one
Hi Greg! Do you need to do a resection/set up before inputting the points for the reference arc?
Nope, you don’t
Thanks very much sir ,but also try to use another method in Arc( center and start )
Thanks Uddydeen Ibrahim! Will try, but really struggling with time and have a lot of other video to do.
@@SITENG I will be too much grateful Sir ,just once

Sorry for late answer, yeah definitely, you should have same offset in the same length. I was checking these columns different way as I remember.

I am missing some TS06 things on TS15 too :) I think you just have to get use to it -> 3 points, or 2 points and Radius
Sir can I mark also Arc 2 (2854.836) by same orientation , I mean is it possible to mark a full circle ⭕
Yes you can, but you would probably have to choose the arc 1 and then arc 2 later to make is easy 😁
Very good teacher but i have a quastion how i download this application to my pc ?
Thank you! you have to look for the app on line as the page I downloaded it from no longer exists
